My father was released from the hospital for dehydration (he has Crohn's) with a foley in place. During the follow-up visit to the office, my father was forced to wait more than an hour. I repeatedly begged the receptionist to find out what was causing the wait. We witnessed the waiting room turnover twice (more than 15 patients) before he was finally seen by a nurse. During both visits the nurses were rude and disrespectful. During the second visit the nurse cursed and left my 82 year old father naked to clean himself up. Luckily my brother was with him. After this visit the foley was not working properly. With no urine output for 2 days, we insisted that the office see him. They removed 1200mL of urine from him (normal capacity is 400 to 600 mL) We are not returning. This is the least professional office I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

My father in law tried to see Dr. Cohen for about 6 months, only to be seen time and again by a nurse practitioner. Despite repeated complaints about pain, etc, the doctor never saw him until a family member called and demanded he see the doctor. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Cohen. At least not if you actually wanted to meet him.

A while back I waited almost 4 months for an appointment specifically with Steven Cohen. Finally, after the long wait, at the appointment a Resident whom I know nothing about comes in wanting to examine me. I asked where is Steven Cohen?? His responce was "He's observing a religious holiday." Another partner in the practise came in stating the same thing. I made an appointment with S. Cohen and was told by office staff that I would see him. 4 months ! only to be told that he was observing a religious holiday(RoshHaShanah). Well why in the hell did he schedule appointments that he new he would never keep? Not professional. Not fair. Never again!
