Dr. Gerstein is phenomenal. I have a rare heart condition and she knew all about it! She was able to prescribe the right birth control for me. She was extremely, friendly, funny, and professional. She explained everything thoroughly and told me exactly what she was doing and what to expect. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I love this office!

I followed Dr. Gerstein from her Center City practice to her Doylestown location. She has a wonderful disposition and is always warm, friendly, and sincere in her care for me. I even had to relocate to Texas for a job opportunity and I still travel back to PA just for HER! I have yet, after a year of searching in TX-with its highly ranked medical center, to find a doctor that compares to her sensitive, modern, genuine, and gentle personality. She is also nonjudgmental (I know this due to a condition I have). She has never made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed and answers my numerous questions with patience, clarity, and thoroughly. She has even checked up on me on her day off. I felt valued as a patient. She helped me through surgery and was informative and comforting to my family. I have never had this level of loyalty or respect for a doctor of any kind prior to seeing Dr. Gerstein. God bless her!

Dr. Gerstein is the best Dr. of any kind that I have ever been to. I wish I could clone her and have one of her in each specialty! She is calm, kind, gentle, thorough, takes everything you say seriously and responds appropriately. She will never make you feel stupid for asking any question. And she calls you personally with test results rather than having office staff call like most Dr. offices. I can't say enough about her and would be very sad if she ever stopped practicing, or if I moved out of the area and had to find another gynecologist. Plus, the staff at this office are very friendly...another rarity these days.

Dr. Gerstein is one of the sweetest doctors you will ever find.She took care of me in my early 20's at the Center City office that she shared w/ Dr. Wu. To eplain what some other review said about her leaving w/o telling her patients, she couldn't.The practice is owned by Dr.Wu and therefore, all patients and their records are hers.But, getting back to the task at hand, which is praising Dr. Gerstein, She was not only extremely technically proficient,but warm and caring to boot. She performed an oopharectomy {ovarian cyst removal} on me and personally went out to speak to my mom after she was finished. At every annual visit she was nothing but smiles and kind words.Even though I live in the city ,if I had insurance I would absolutely go to her still.

Takes her time with you. Very personable and knowledgeable. I always felt that her partner was very harried and not interested in what you had to say. With the shortage of gynecologists in our area, Dr. Gerstein is very refreshing. I recommend her highly.

Word to the wise: don't go to this doctor if you're not heterosexual. I had an annual exam with her several years ago and when I said I was sexually active didn't use condoms or birth control, she acted extremely disapproving. When I explained that I don't sleep with men, she stopped communicating altogether. The rest of the exam was even more uncomfortable than it usually is. One could surmise that she has issues regarding same-sex sexuality and as a result fails to ask some of the important questions (about STDs, etc.) that are still pertinent to women even though they might not be heterosexual. Because of her judgemental attitude, I would not ever recommend her to others.

She is wonderful. Very personable, and great bedside manner. She answered all of my questions and very kind. After 4 different ob-gyns in 10 years she is the best by far.I highly recommend her.

She is wonderful! So wonderful, in fact, that I actually came here to write a review. I am guility of reading reviews all the time, but never contributing myself. Well, she prompted me to write something! I have always felt rushed and uncomfortable, however Dr. Gerstein sat and answered my questions and seemed to be in no hurry. She truly is one of the best docs I have ever been to. I have 100% confidence in her.
