Was very dismissive and after the appointment I was left wondering why I even bothered to speak. I was treated so poorly I never went back. Fortunately, I found another doctor who listens to their patients. What a concept! If you’re going for a routine exam and have zero issues whatsoever, you might be fine...but if you have a concern or question, you’re treated like an idiot.

Left my tubal ligation with no pain relief what so ever. I spent the weekend screaming in pain. She would only prescribe the same medication that didn't work at the hospital. Why would you prescribe something that you know doesn't work.

I had been a patient of Dr Gerstein's for several years, usually having a pretty good experience with her. I had an issue that I presented with on back-to-back exams. It was not until my last visit to her, with the same issue, that she showed any real interest or concern. She finally took action, I had biopsies taken, was informed of her suspicion all of a sudden and was sent on my way. I received a call from her several days later with the diagnosis: cancer. She referred me to an Oncologist out of the area and I never heard from her again throughout all of my cancer treatments. NOT ONCE. Dropped me like a hot potato. Would I recommend her to anyone? Never. I would not wish her disrespectful, uncaring, cold-hearted treatment on anyone. I have subsequently found a nice, caring Dr. Dr Gerstein obviously doesn't want to stay in the lives of her patients when they receive bad news. Shame on her.

Dr. Laurie Gerstein was very professional. kind and caring. She address all my concerns and made recommendations. The staff was also very attentive and professional. Will recommend to friends and family.

Although there are many great reviews and one of the reasons I chose this gyn, I was very disappointed with my care. Unfortunately dr gerstein did not take me seriously once I revealed that I suffer from a mental condition. When we spoke I feel as though she really had no understanding of my condition. After that initial impression it left me with little confidence in my gyn exam. I will not be going back.

I have been going to Dr. Gerstein for several years. I chose this practice because they only handle gyn patients. Dr. Gerstein is the best Gyn I've been to. I have recommended her to my friends.

I have gone to Dr. Gerstein for many years and have always had a positive interaction with her. Just as stated by the other patients, she is kind, gentle, understanding, and humane. I highly recommend her to anyone for her bedside manner and professionalism.

One of the most professional, kindest doctors I have ever met. Excellent bedside manner, takes her time to answer my questions, and very knowledgable. I followed her from Center City and travel 45minutes from Philadelphia to stay under her care. I don't know about other patients that stated they were not made aware of her departure from Center City, however, I received a prompt postcard of her new practice. Wish there more doctors like Dr. Gerstein!

Dr. Gerstein has an exceptional bedside manner. I'm an apprehensive patient and I felt very comfortable talking with her before and during the examination. She is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of important information about menopause that put my mind at ease. She spent as much time as needed to answer all my questions. Dr. Gerstein is a very warm and down to earth person. These days so many doctors rush through the exam and make patients feel they aren't being listened to. Dr. Gerstein listens - she is caring and kind. Her smile goes a long way in making a patient feel relaxed. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gerstein. She is truly an asset to the medical profession.
