Dr Eismont is extremely knowledgeable and respectful. He spends time educating his clients of exactly they are dealing with and why or why not they should have surgery. In addition he explains the type of surgery needed front or back depending on the severity of the patient’s situation

I HAD NECK SURGERY WITH THIS DR I HAVE MORE PAIN NOW THAN BEFORE BUT THE WORSE I WAS TREATED LIKE THEY REALLY DO NOT CARE GO AWAY WE ARE DONE THEY DO NOT CARE. NOW HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO HELP ME CORRECT THE PAIN.

This man I trust with my life... he is a genius when it comes to Orthopedic Spine Surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Frank Eismont and his team at the University of Miami Spine Institute. They have a unique ability that is rare; which includes knowing how to comfort you as a patient getting prepared for surgery to not only feel but down deep inside to actually know that you are in the best of hands (This includes Ms. Laurie).

Dr. Eismont is an amazing surgeon and human being. I was terrified to have a lumbar surgery but from the moment that I met Dr. Eismont he made feel relaxed and confident. His surgical team were above and beyon with my concern with the anesthesia. I want to give special recognition for the excellent work before and after the sugery to his assistant Laurie Roberti. Needing a second surgery!! to fix was Eismont did last year to my lumbar L5. Should have seen a neuro instead of an ortho first time around. I learned the hard way.

There can be no finer surgeon anywhere. I have had two major cervical spine surgeries with him, in 1997 and in 2007 when he stopped my spine from crushing my spinal cord more than 50% flattened with an eight hour micro-surgery which he did himself. In addition, the success of the second surgery is directly as a result of the thorough followup to my 1st surgery whereby he continued to monitor me for 10 years, with total accessibility and was able to identify the need for a second surgery at exactly the right time when new techniques and technology had become available. Although Dr. Eismont has received the recognition he deserves, and could slow down, he continues to work well late evenings seeing patients and doing hands-on work himself, it is truly a, privilege and a blessing to be a patient of his and his equally professional staff of nurses Laurie and Sally and his administrative staff who really strive to make everything as easy as possible in some very tough situations.
