Dr. Segil is the "BEST" OB GYN doctor that I have ever met. He takes the time to explain things in detail, will diagnose your condition and develop a treatment plan. He is very compassionate and has a nice way about him. I would highly recommend him and you will not be disappointed.

I strongly recommend not choosing Dr. Segil as your obstetrician if your birth plan includes an epidural. He's overzealous about natural deliveries. Halfway through my pregnancy, I filled out a routine form provided by his office outlining my birth plan. My birth plan included the desire for an epidural once I reached about 5-6 cm of dilation. He was argumentative and impolite to me when he reviewed my plan, stating that natural labor is a better plan. His practice only had two choices of obstetricians. Unfortunately, he was the dr on staff when I was in labor and became halfway dilated. I said I was ready for an epidural. He said he thought I was handling the pain well and should forego it. We argued and he gave in after telling me it was against his medical advice. By the time I got my epidural and reached the delivery stage, I was emotionally rattled and unnecessarily worked up. He was arrogant and hypercontrolling. I found a calming, flexible dr for my second child. So much better!

I am now experiencing mesh erosion after this doctor did a hysterectomy and bladder sling. I am so sick. He was very rude to me when I started to complain of pain etc. Do not let this man touch you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Segil's for 4 years and just had a secod surgery in 2 years. He is caring, kind, compassionate, very easy to talk to, answers all questions, explaining all options as really cares about his patients. I am very comfortable with him as important for me to have faith, trust and confidence in a doctor and do with him. He is a professional and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Segil was very helpful during my pregnancy. I also find him to be very compassionate. He is kind and gentle. He makes you feel comfortable, which is a great attribute for a male gynecologist to have. I now live about 45 minutes away from his practice, but i will still make the trip to see him. Once you find a good doctor, you stick with them.

Dr. Segil is kind, gentle, courteous, empathetic, and has a wonderful sense of humor. I wish he were a PCP.
