Great family doctor, saved my life.Takes the time to listen to your situation and orders the proper tests to further investigate.I wish other doctors were as competent as Dr. Verheul

Though I have been seeing the drs. in this practice for 20 years, they are NEVER on time. I just waited two hours for my appt. and he took a meeting while we (the next appt.) were told it would be awhile longer! I'm fed up. No explanation and no apology was given. I'm sure I will find someone new who puts patients first. I'm extremely disappointed. Suffice it to say I left without being seen. Good luck

We moved to Virginia from Ohio in 1988 and Dr. V was the only doctor I found then and I still have as my doc. He is amazing, caring, funny, is very well informed, and takes very good care of his (and I mean HIS) patients. He is a good doc and a good friend. I trust him and I am so happy to have him as my personal doctor. His staff is wonderful and very caring. The whole office is great. My family would be lost without this awesome staff and doctors.

Dr Verheul is the best! I have been a patient for 20 years. He takes time to explain, answer questions. I never feel rushed. He is extremely knowledgeable. His bedside manner is outstanding. He is a very caring person. He and his RN (as of 2/09) always return my calls.

Dr. V has been my doctor since 1991....18 years! he is, without any doubt, one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever been blessed with in my life. He truly cares about his patients - not just medically, but in every aspect. He remembers the incidentals mentioned in casual conversation and never forgets how you as a patient likes to be treated. He delivers any diagnosis to you with thoroughness and in non-medical terms. He tells it like it is but with integrity and dignity - never makes you feel like... well, what did you expect when....? I would follow this man to the ends of the earth. And if he goes as far as his education and knowledge carries him, you can be rest assured, he will put you in as capable of hands with any specialist, etc that he refers you to. A big guy, he is never intimidating - his big heart and big smile reassure you of that. I am so blessed to have him in my life as my doctor and as my beloved friend. This world is a better place with him in it

Dr. Verheul is the most compassionate and caring doctor out there. His bedside manner is the best and he truly cares for his patients. He's an outstanding physician.

There is no better doc tor than John Verheul. He always listens to you and remembers everything that is happening not only medically, but also within your life. His staff is outstanding and from the moment you walk in that from door you are treated with kindness and resoect. His nurses are also amazing and make sure you get whatever refills you need. There has never been a time when I have been ill and they have not found a way for me to someone. Dr. Verheul is medical perfection!
