Dr. Carter is someone I would refer to anyone because of her professionalism, knowledge, personality, and bed-side manners (something that's hard to find today). I've been with her 25 years and took my daughter to be educated about female concerns. If you have problems with any staff and inform her, you won't again. Occasionally, a baby has to be born and procedures that will cut into your appointment time. I've had to wait sometime (like we do for most doctor appointments), but it's worth it when it's my turn with Dr. Carter and I'm not rushed. Once, I didn't schedule on time, but an excellent female doctor in the office was available. Another time, I had a problem and was a walk-in, again, another excellent female doctor relieved the problem. None of this would be available if Dr. Carter didn't have the vision to best serve women. --S. Long

Great doctor and the staff is very polite when you are in the office. However, in my experience, the staff is poor when it comes to returning calls, billing errors. I received a refund on week and a bill the following week. The excuse was a computer glitch, but I has happened on more than one occasion. I have left messages on several occasions for the nurse to return my call or call in a prescription for my problem. No call was returned.

I had been a patent of Dr. Carter for about 8 years with no problems until recently the staff are unfriendly. I recently had a miscarriage during this time when I made appointment I would have to wait 45 min to and hour. I loved Dr. Carter but I will have to find a new OBGYN that has time to see and treat me. I think there may be an issue with over booking patients her practice has grown of the past 8 years and so have my needs .

Dr. Carter is great. She was the only doctor that made me feel comfortable about my conditions and the choices I had available. She explained everything in great detail. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent and qualified gynecologist. The nurses and the staff in the back were great too! Front desk staff needs a little work.

Dr. Carter is all about the money. She will not tell you all of your options if she can't make money off of the procedure. She cut me open for a myomectomy, knowing full well that there were other options available that I was eligible for. She didn't make my friend aware of other options to address her issues carrying a baby because she couldn't do the procedure. I would never recommend anyone to see her.

I recently delivered my first baby almost 6 months ago. I was considered high risk due to elevated blood pressure and was also being monitored for gestational diabetes. I was admitted a few days prior to delivery due to these risks. Initially, when entering my exam room, Dr. Carter was extremely rude to me asking me if I was a rape victim because i was "tensing up". She even further offended me by asking: "How do you have sex"?? needless to say, I was appalled!!!!! I kept my composure because I was concerned about my health/ blood pressure and wanted to ensure my baby had a safe delivery. He was born on Christmas Eve and I knew she was "the one on call". My doctor is Dr. lanetta Anderson and she, unfortunately was out of town for the Christmas holidays. I tell everyone I know about my horrible treatment. Ironically, I am a Perinatal social worker who works in OB with high risk patients. I felt completely degraded and humiliated as a woman. Fortunately, the other staff ALMOST made up for it....
