Very knowledgeable, but practically impossible to get service from his staff. Most of his staff regularly brings deep shame to this otherwise remarkably knowledgeable and thorough service.

The staff knows I needed an appointment desperately. I need a new pump as I still don't have longer-acting insulin (e.g., NPh). I was strung along and left without what I desperately need. Extreme professional neglect is the best way to describe what his office has done. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who wants to be cared for. If you're looking for a way to blow your time and money without much in the way of results or health improvements, sure you could try them. Otherwise, do not contact them.

DO NOT waste your time seeing this doctor. He prides himself on knowledge, repeats the same impressive, intelligent speech I heard years ago. His staff FLAT OUT LIED to me when he forgot to write appropriate prescription. Dr Fredericks is quite self-centered, (like most docs), & truly not concerned about the patient.

ALWAYS runs EXTREMELY late, staff says call for updated time, BUT they never answer their phone! Saw him 3 times, each time was 5 to 7 hours after my appointment time. He seems very knowledgable, however he repeats his "spiel" on his research at each appointment. He had me do several tests which I feel were just part of his research and not for my treatment- never received sound results from tests, but he tried to put me on pills for diabetes, which I didn't have- never clear on what his course of treatment was- stopped going at this point- didn't want to deal with the long drive, long wait, rude staff, unhelpful staff, and his pontifications.

Everyone is right on about the long wait time after checking in and finally getting into see him. If the office staff would just get a better handle on his timeline versus your actual appointment time and call you to let you know when to arrive it would truly be appreciative. Like great restaurants sometimes you have to wait and Dr. Fredericks is truly a great doctor.

Dr. Fredericks actaully cares about his patients. He makes sure he takes the time with each - making sure they get the attention they need. This means that he runs several hours late for his appointment with you. The best bet is to call before your appointment time and see a better estimated time to arrive to the office. Even after doing this you will still most likely wait 2-3 hrs in their office - so bring a book, reading material or your knitting.

This doctor seems to be very knowledgeable, unfortunately his staff never answers the phone. They won't return phone call to set up an appointment. I had to drive to the office to set up an appointment. Once my appointment was set up, I waited over 4 hours to get in to see him. It has been over 1 week and I still haven't had my prescription called in because it need a pre-authorization. It is unfortunate to have such a knowledgeable doctor who has a joke for a staff. They have to be family or something. I went to a pharmacy and they said, "great doctor, but good luck getting his staff to do anything."

This Doctor is brilliant and will not treat you like a number. He will spend an hour with you if that is what it takes. His staff is rude and threatening and he puts his staff first which is a shame. You will always wait for more two hours after your appointment.

Find another Dr. This one might be knowledgeable, but too many negatives. He is always min. 2 hrs. late; has halitosis that will knock you out; likes to impress you with his knowledge and seems to get upset if you question him; every appointment I've had (6 yrs.) he tries to write me a new prescription for new expensive drug. Is he getting rewards? Why does he book so many close appointments when he knows he'll be behind? Should only book every two hrs.
His staff are young and polite, but incompetent. Phones are never answered by the many extensions; never get promised return calls, even when you leave a message; incorrect coding for labs cost me over $700; been trying to get them to help correct it for over a yr. to no avail. Seems to have quite a turn over of staff. Can you blame them?
I was referred to him by a patient, but can no longer tolerate this practice. Find other Dr.
