Staff very rude and abrasive. I feel effects the doctor's decisions. More than an hour wait each time. Diagnose my daughter with a symptom she did not have and prescribe medication the pharmist was very concerned with. Found another doctor.

Horrible!! I have taken my son here twice in the past year since our insurance has been changed to Medicaid. The front desk staff is SO RUDE and has an attitude about everything. The DR misdiagnosed my son TWICE! Both times we ended up taking him to the ER, where the ER DR had to adjust and fix what the DR said was wrong with him! The staff takes and hour and a half lunch break and WILL NOT answer after hour calls!! I don't know how these people are still in business their customer service is horrible and they are not knowledgeable at all! Not to mention the front waiting room is FULL or ants!

Dr.A is one of the best in the area. He's very knowlegeable and my kids just adore him. He's a father and a grandfather and it shows. We are dreading the day our kids aren't in his care anymore because he's a Pediatrician and can only treat them till they are 18.

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Arroyo from the time she was 10 years old (when we moved from Atlanta to Palm Harbor) until she left for the University of Florida. In fact she traveled down from Gainesville on at least two occasions to be seen by Dr. A because she was less pleased with the college clinic at UF. He took the time to hear our concerns and I felt his treatment was always thorough, knowledgable and effective. Just as important, we felt he genuinely cared. Because of her asthma, she was seen by the doctor at least once every 6 to 8 weeks. She would be his patient still if he had not urged her to find a physician for "grown ups" once she became a college junior!

We visited the Palm Harbor office of Dr Arroyo for a few years for my son (10 visits total?). The office was usually packed and I always had to wait 15-30 minutes (not a pleasant wait). Dr Arroyo seemed like a knowledgable doctor, but the appointments always felt very rushed. I did not feel a really good back-and-forth communication with the doctor, if you didn't say a problem in the first five seconds, forget about it, he was in his own world mentally. (A lot of drs seem like this to me, tho?). I switched for a doctor that would spend more time with us and interface more, and I am really glad I did. My son later was diagnosed with ADHD and I do not think Dr Arroyo would have been as helpful and patient as the new dr (switched to Dr Hagan @ Diagnostic Clinic on mcmullen, highly recommend her, she is super sweet and never makes you feel rushed).Anyway, Dr Arroyo is a decent dr and I do think he knows what he is doing, I just felt too long a wait and too rushed in the visit.

We have known Dr. Arroyo for 20 years and have never had anything but the best to sat about him! He is not only a fantastic doctor, but an amazing human being. Unfortunately, we moved to another state; needless to say, we never found anyone that could compare!
