The best Surgeon EVER! I had a rough time sleeping, walking, sitting, etc. due to pain from L5-S1. There was basically no disc remaining. I tried aquatic therapy for 6 months and learned the techniques so I could continue at home in my pool, stretching daily trying to keep my lower core strong and then 4 sets of injections within a 3-4 month period. Nothing worked. My physician referred me to Dr. Wimberley. I was terrified of surgery but the pain was getting worse each week. I had two surgeries, the first on Oct 21st where they went in the front, lifted my spine and inserted a cage. Two days later, Oct 23rd I had the second surgery where he made 2 small incisions on each side of my spine in the back side and installed 2 bars for re-enforcement. 5 weeks later I was driving, went back to work 6 weeks after surgery (minimum 1hour drive each way) and today 3 months later I am no longer feeling the pain I had before, sleeping all night and just started rehab. I am doing great!!! Dr Wimberley and Nizar are the best at what they do and I am so grateful to a new start to my new life! Thanks Dr Wimberley!!!!

Dr. Wimberley seems capable enough but his staff and the Fondren practice group is absolutely incompetent. They are incapable of performing the most basic administrative tasks in an efficient or courteous manner. Everything wrong with American health care on brilliant display here.

Excellent Doctor - very caring - top notch....Would not use any one else for surgery on the spine....
