Todd Molnar doesn't know how to run his practice - if keeping someone waiting TWO hours is acceptable to some, it is not to me, I walked out. I've waited before but maybe half that time and even still, it isn't the way to treat people. I really needed someone to look at my issue but I was so angry at that point, I had to leave. He's far from a professional if he isn't considerate enough to pop his head in to apologize or have someone on his staff do on his behalf. He's lost me and anyone who asks me for an Ortho recommendation. What a waste of time.

The SCOI practice seems to have the same routine with everyone (I know this because you can hear patients being treated in the other rooms). They pretty much collect copays and insurance and put you through three epidurals. Then they begin to try and fix the problem. I have a long list of complaints: wait time, copays, lack of....personalization...oh, and its not working. The icing on the cake was going in for my third epidural today and not being put under properly. Worst pain of my life. I know they are just doing what their practice wants and they are trying to do their job but its not good enough. Im in pain, I am frustrated and I am broke. I have one appointment scheduled and I am having them forward my records to my new practice. Nothing personal Doc. Maybe this method just doesnt work for my body.

I was seeing DR. MOLNAR every month for about a year and half on a workers comp case. Setup by the insurance company of course.

Not even one visit in over a year and half did I get any indication that DR MOLNAR cared about me as a patient at all. In fact it was the opposite.

When I first went in with my MRI it showed a bulging disk (nerve test also showed nerve damage). I told him I had a herniated disk in the same spot about 5 years prior and that I had non surgical decompression and he snapped saying what a scam that is and if I had a herniated disk it would still be there since surgery is the only way to fix it, but when I showed him my older MRI showing the herniated disk he had nothing to say.

When I first went in I told them I didn't want a pain killer prescription. About a year in I was hurting so bad one day sitting around their waiting room for an hour and a half that I asked for something to help with the pain for that day. Not even a full prescription and DR MOLNAR said no, you'll get addicted. Mean while I had perception for pain meds for over 4 years straight and never even took them. Once again, he doesn't care about the patient.

Worst of all after an AME found my situation as permanent / stationary, DR MOLNAR just copied what the AME said and closed the case. Leaving me on a working restriction and with my workers comp payments cut off due the AME deciding my case was permanent / stationary, DR MOLNAR refused several times to fill out of the paper work for state disability. So not only can't I go back to work due to the restriction I can't collect disability which I am eligible for because DR MOLNAR wont fill out the paper work. Once again, its about his ego and the money. Its all well and good with him keeping me out of work so I could keep coming back so that he could collect a pay check. I don't think I even had an appointment where I had more than 5 mins with him. It always seem very rushed, even when I was asking him questions about my problems.

Not only do I feel DR MOLNAR is just about the money I believe this is the SCOI way. When I went in to see the surgeon for a consult they wanted to do an X ray. I asked why, stating I just had a new MRI a week ago telling them that an X RAY wouldn't show anything of use. They couldn't explain to me what the X RAY was for and went on with the appointment. Once again, doing whatever they possibly could to get paid off the insurance company.

This is how SCOI left me as a patient.

I have to borrow this money to pay my rent. Next month I will not be able to pay any of my bills or my rent. Im am going to be homeless thanks to DR. MOLNAR not wanting to fill out the state disability paper work. Its all well and good for him to be the treating DR when he's getting paid off the insurance company, but when it comes to doing real work that would actually help the patient, forget about it. I already explained this to the staff at SCOI and never heard back. They must think I'm trying to play the system which is a joke consider Ive lost $40k+ being out of work.

If it was a choice over being dead or being treated by SCOI again. I would rather be dead.

Dr. Molnar is over confident, sarcastic and rude. He did not explain injury, was dismissive of possible treatments. The wait time extended over one hour. Some patients were rushed through their appointments while others were left to languish in the office. As a second opinion Molnar discounted what other providers had found, yet did not make any assertions or offer concrete solutions for problems. Molnar neglected to ask questions quickly drawing his own conclusions. I will be switching to another doctor immediately. The appointment and evaluation did not come close to justifying the wait time and the lack of care, observation, feedback and willingness to work with patient were overwhelming. The Dr. put his own ideas rashly before his monitoring of my care.
