I have been seeing Dr L for over 20 years since I first moved here from out of state. He is the best physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He took care of my diabetes, thyroid & any other problem I had. He is a brilliant doctor who is always researching new & better ways to help his patients, plus he actually LISTENED to his patients. He also has a kind & gentle bedside manner and in the 20 years I have been seeing him has never been anything but compassionate & professional. I would travel to another state to see him if I had to or wait for as long as needed in his office to get in. He spends as much time as he needs to with all of his patients and he understands the complexities of diabetes because he is a diabetic himself. Unfortunately, for myself and all his patients he has had to close his practice and we are all the struggling with trying to find another doctor. Let me tell you there aren't any out there that even come close to Dr Lodewick. I am lost & broken hearted. I can't find a doctor to see me without a 6 month wait & so here I sit missing my (real) doctor who would have moved heaven & earth to get me in quicker if I was a new patient & needed my supplies, no question. Diabetics can't wait 6 months let alone 6 days! We are all much worse off for the loss of this great man/physician!
