was very profesional.had c5 c6 and c7 fused took c6 out..had nerve pain in left arm.pain was gone in arm after surgery.still dealing with pain in neck though.still in healing process.would recomend to anyone..

Dr. Tekula treated me for persistent leg pain resulting from an impinged nerve root in the L4-5 area. After a laminectomy and a discectomy were performed in an attempt to relieve the pain with more conservative measures, it became obvious that a more aggressive approach was required. Dr. Tekula suggested a spinal fusion of the two vertebra. I, of course, agreed and almost immediately after the surgery my pain was completley resolved. In addition to Dr. Tekula's phenomenal surgical skill, she truly cares about improving the quality of life of her patients. Compassion and empathy along with her technical skill make Dr. Tekula THE neurosurgeon to see if you're having any neuro/spinal problems. Kudos to her staff, as well.

Had fusion on C4/C5 in January 2006.Excellent results. Would recommend Dr. Tekula to anyone with problems cervical or lumbar. She is a person who cares and has a great rapor with her patients.
