I realize that woman experiencing their first pregnancy may deem themselves as the only person on the face of the planet.. I met Dr. Capobianco when I was referred because I was hemorrhaging. The previous Dr didn't know how to deal with my condition after throwing everything he knew at the problem.. Within 15nimutes of arriving at Dr.C's office he was scheduling me for surgery . Within an hour I was in the operating room and this man was saving my life. Not all his patients see him for future deliveries.. I get that having a child can be un-nerving when inexperience creeps into our minds. We never know how it will go.. But having him over see your experience will be your best bet on having a successful pregnancy.. I recommended him to a friend who was distraught at the prospect of never having a child.. She had had many miscarriages .. because of his excellence she had the daughter she always wanted.. I too have waited in his waiting room.. People assume he's wasting their time when he could in fact be saving someone with the same issue I had.. That was years ago and I recently had an additional surgery that will make my future less traumatic and healthier for sure.. So when you have to wait for 1 or maybe even 2 hours please realize that he may be saving someone !!

When you have to wait an excessively long every time you go in for a scheduled appointment, something is wrong. His staff members are mindless. They get totally confused if you ask them a question or ask them to do something differently, such as take your blood pressure manually rather than place your arm in their BP machine that should be called the "grip of death" machine. Dr. Capobianco's nurse mocked and ridiculed me for being pregnant in my 40s, and ended up giving out my private medical information to someone over the phone (someone I never authorized to obtain my information), placing me in danger as a result. Believe me, I suffered the consequences of that nurse violating my privacy. No one in the office cared or apologized. Never again.

This man should not be in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. He is verbally, emotionally, and on the verge of physically abusive to female patients in labor. I was appalled at what I witnessed at a birth my client had with him. Your birth is one of the most physically and emotionally vulnerable experiences you'll have in your life, no matter what way you plan to go about it. Do not trust this man with that experience. I hope he retires ASAP. Good riddance.

Whenever I asked him about my surgery he answered " it was a big surgery." Does not explain much.

He wouldn't even know who i was if i saw him outside of office. Never gave me the time of day and I was so disappointed because my sister in law and friends said how reliable he was and that he made sure to always be there to deliver all there babies. I was one hour off the time he was going to deliver my son and he decided for another dr to do it instead. The wait time for me was always almost 2 hours long.

I've had two visits to this office- 90 minute and 45 minute wait both times. You have to pay for parking here so time waiting is money.

I switched from dr capobianco after I heard his yell at his employees, how I work in the medical field and was appalled at the disrespectful way his staff is treated.
Also, he was arrogant and full of himself at all 4 appointments I had. I couldn't get a word in edge wise unless it was in agreement with him.

I have to disagree with most of the comments about Dr. Capobianco below. He was recommended by a friend of mine, who has sung his praises. My initial visit with him was long. We met in his office, discussed my history, and then went on for the ultrasound. At this point I already knew I was having twins and that put me in a high risk category. Over the course of the next 8 months, I was seen every 2 weeks. He was at 100% of my appointments. I had all kinds of issues during that time including gestational diabetes and pre-term labor that I was hospitalized for. He was so knowledgeable and answered every question I had for him. I made it to my scheduled delivery date and everything went smoothly. I felt like I was in the best hands available. All in all this was the best experience I have ever had with any doctor, period.

Dr. Capobianco is an incredible doctor! He always makes me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had to have an emergency c-section, and even though I was very scared, Dr. Capo helped me feel a little more at ease in a scary situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.
