He was highly recommended to me. What a dissappointment. I was treated for something I didn't have and nobody told me. I found out because I took my results to another dr. I was so mad I wanted to file a complaint to the MBC

Disappointed in my experience with Capobianco. He was highly recommended to me so I feel frustrated with my experience. My lactation consultant told me there are others not happy either. Felt he was not interested in me personally, seemed stoic, distant. Due to nervousness of first pregnancy I asked many questions. One time I asked about breastfeeding and he became annoyed and snapped at me. My apprehension grew as due date approached. He was good about discussing my birth plan and my fear of episiotomies (I brought that up a lot.) Night of delivery he did not show up, random older OBGYN from practice delivered my son. That Dr told nurse to tell me that I had to have an episiotomy before I could start pushing. I have had horrible complications from episiotomy: incontinence, urination pain, hemorrhoids, and pain sitting on cut site. At 6week exam Capo was uninterested in these symptoms and in my severe digestive problems postpartum. He seemed more interested in typing notes on computer..

Dr. Capobianco seems to be a competent and hardworking doctor. However he is egregiously overbooked and probably shouldn't have as many patients as he does. Every time I've seen him, he has been pressed for time, and several times, his staff has had to reschedule my checkups at the last minute. This year, they had to reschedule me three times because of various emergencies with his other patients. That said, when I did get in to see him, he was thorough, polite, well-informed and attentive. Good doctor, but spread too thin.

He never told me to take Iron after I told him I had been craving Ice. After a period of time I became very sort of breath and ended up in the ER and found out I had a Very low Iron level, and needed Three Iron pills a day.I gave birth later and he was not the Doctor on call at the time, and another Doctor delivered my baby. I was concerned because I never saw the placenta. Within those days of delivery my baby I was in great pain. I soon found out why I was in so much pain I still had afterbirth left in my uterus.I was terrified. I went in to see Dr. Capo, I began to tell him how I was concerned in the delivery room because I never saw the placenta. He abruptly cut me off and told me sharply that the doctor who delivered my baby was a great doctor. I was hurt as a patient and a women. He then removed the left over after birth and said to me that it was a very good thing that came in. Because there was a lot left in. I left his office and never returned for my six week check up.

I love Dr. Capobianco. He is very patient and thorough. His nurse, Nicole, is great but the others are sometimes lacking. I've had some long waits but don't mind as long as I'm happy with my care. I feel that he always presents options and helps me understand anything that may be confusing to me.

Staff unprofessional. Staff unable to provide information on procedures, felt very rushed through appointment. Dr. Capobianco was unable to provide information on fertility issues and did not provide proper referrals to get the answers I needed.
