I happened upon Dr. Modlinger when I was required to get a pre-op clearance for my back surgery from a cardiologist. I thought it would be one and done. What I got was the most attentive, knowledgeable and caring doctor I have ever had! He is "big picture" and looks at everything, he diagnosed me with a heart condition that had been potentially dangerously overlooked for many years and probably extended my life by many years. He does a lot of testing to get to the bottom of things so he can know everything about your organs and heart function. He spends a tremendous amount of time with you (sometimes hours!), hence the long waits to see him but to me it is WORTH IT. He is kind, warm, and truly cares about each patient. His staff are wonderful and have all been there for many years, a testament to him. If you are in a hurry, narcissistic, or a complainer this isn't the place for you. If you are able to see the value you get from having someone SO focused on your health that it is worth every minute you sit waiting for him, then you have found the right doctor! I feel like I hit the lottery when I stumbled upon him.

Dr. Modlinger is a Cardiologist. He is very thorough and very knowledgeable. He has a lot of testing equipment in his office, which has saved me the hassle of driving all over town to different labs and testing facilities. This is a wonderful, compassionate and brilliant Doctor. I always allow plenty of time for appointments because he is so thorough. I can't imagine going to anyone else!

The first visit to Dr. Modlinger took about 4 hours. During that time I had several tests done. At first I was impatient because I was in the office for so long but then I realized that if I had gone to another Doctor he would have probably scheduled me for the same tests at the hospital or other places. Instead, i had all tests done in his office on same day. I only had to take one day off of work instead of 4 or 5. He is very thorough. I was afraid of heart disease because my dad had a fatal heart attack and my mom has high blood pressure and had several mini strokes. Dr. Modlinger got a great baseline on my current health and came up with a plan for me to reduce my risk factors. A lot of Drs don't want to deal with you until something is wrong but Dr. Modlinger wants to prevent problems. It does take time to get your answers but you do get them. I have complete confidence in Dr. Modlinger to keep me on the right path to health.

Extremely rude and disorganised. Keeps you waiting for hours, yells at his staff, orders test after test and never sits down with you to discuss the results.

Runs a bunch of tests all the time. Always says something is wrong and you need more tests. He seems to have soem kind of diagnosis that costs my insurance company more money. He appears like he cares, but in reality I believe he is only interested in getting the thousands of dollars he gets by ordering all of these tests. I would get a second opinion before I took his word for anything.
