Dr. Petrie is highly skilled and knowledgeable. I trust his opinion but the timing should be better. My time is valuable too.

I found Dr Petrie to be both competent and confident.He graduated 50 years ago so should have lots of experience.He seems in good shape for his age and very capable of doing surgery.Staff also nice.No problems for me so far.

Biggest complaint is I am ALWAYS on time & I end up waiting a good hr, & once time it was 2 full hrs! His office never looks over booked when I'm there so I DON'T know why it takes so LONG to get in to see him? Waiting that long is totally un-acceptable especially when he only gives me 6 minutes IF I'm lucky at each appt. Over all I do believe he is a good surgeon & highly skilled. He is very knowledgeable I just wish he would take time to answer my few questions. Although he has a GREAT staff & I find they will go out of their way for me to get the answers I need. But I shouldn't have to ask them...he is the doctor and should answer me. He makes me feel like my questions/concerns aren't important. Its not right that I "wait" a good 1 or 2 hrs and get "only" 6 to 10 minutes if I'm lucky, & that includes the physical exam. He just grabs the door knob and out he goes. I guess since he is a good surgeon he doesn't feel he has to explain things to you?
