Dr. Mahan is extremely knowledgeable and is current in the latest research in diabetes and hypertension. I found him to be extremely helpful in controling both. I was very sorry when he left the clinic setting to work in the hospital. I trusted him completely.

Very unsure of himself. Very preoccupied and seemed to only care what he thought and not what I thought. I feel very hurried when I see him.

my experience with dr mahan was average to poor. he missed a couple of things, and told me once that the reason that mercy hired him was to generate income for mercy health center and the hospital. therefore, he could only recomend mercy system doctors. his current nurses are poor to return phonecalls, and like to act as doctors themselves, perhaps with the old nurses, i would have stayed despite my experiences. not recommended in my book
