All five categories for a post-surgery exam for my wife by Dr. Guram and staff we provided 5-Stars, March 2023. Yesterdays visit resulted in a complete disaster, disappointment. No reason to explain other than requesting Dr. Maninder Guram to personally call us for a fair and honest explanation of what occurred, should not occur again, otherwise his profession will continue to expect similar occurrences, if exists as we speak. The front staff are the first impression of Dr. Guram's profession. Dr. Guram is a busy physician, believe surgery in the morning, post-surgery exams, consultations, etc., in the afternoons, relying on the staff to support him at all times; what we experienced, and possibly other patients, as well, should not happen and must be addressed as a priority! Dr. Guram, if you view this review, this comment, kindly call us to satisfy resolution of our grievance. No severe/negative remarks have been made in this review as we find it unfair for all parties. Just need for Dr. Guram to address our concerns. We deem this important! Note: The 5-Stars for punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge remain unchanged representing our rating for solely Dr. Guram!

We are still waiting for him to show up. He finally showed. He apologized half heartedly. If we had reviewed his prior ratings we would have chosen another doctor. I suggest you do what we did not review his ratings!

It seems since he moved upstairs, he needs more money to pay for the fancy place. He tried to have me coming there every month, and for nothing. He was involving himself in things that my other doctors were treating me for and they had nothing to do with gastroenterology.. No thanks, I found another doctor.

New patient. Dr Guram was assigned to my case may 2016 while I was at Tomball hospital. He seemed to care about my health and when I went home followed up on my issue, which you do not find.

Great detail explained in today's exam. Doctor set goals towards reducing the medicine over a period of time. Explained diet changes and importance of following a proper diet. Answered all questions thoroughly. We are very pleased with today's visit.

Dr. Guram (who is a MAN, btw) has forgotten me in the examination room so long the lights went out on me, has not sent an important report to another GI to whom he sent me for a balloon endoscopy, has recommended biologics treatment in a taper-down strategy (which you cannot do w/ biologics) and just generally doesn't seem to have a clear plan of action or good understanding of Crohn's. I plan early morning appointments on purpose but still wait an hour to see him. He was late to my 7am (6am report time) colonoscopy, too, which didn't surprise the rest of the scoping personnel. I LOVE his office staff but they're not enough to make me stay. I will be looking for a new GI, who has a clear understanding of IBD, etc.

I went to see Dr. Guram on the recommendation of my internist for a consultation preliminary to a colonoscopy. He had the absolute worst bedside manner I'd ever encountered to that point. Humorless, unresponsive, dismissive and disrespectful. Would never return to him for service. Walked away with zero respect for his knowledge or the suitability of his personality for his profession as a caregiver.
