For twenty years I have had a chronic illness that medical textbooks classify as having no cure. The illness can go into remission, but there is no cure known. Dr. Pooler asked me if I was currently taking medication for the illness. I stated that I am not. He stated that I am therefor cured of the illness. His belief is that if I have the illness then I should be on heavy-duty steroids. Since I am not, then ergo I am cured.
