Dr. Bahuguna started treating my husband a patient in the Highland Park Hospital outpatient in the partial day program. She was spot on in her treatment, and my husband was able to get back on his feet. I needed assistance with medication, and she agreed to also treat me! We are eternally grateful for getting to know Dr. Bahuguna, she has helped us both get back on our feet, and reclaim our lives. She is very interested in the total person, how you feel mentally, physically, as well as interpersonal relationships in families and friends, during most difficult times. I have personally referred Dr. Bahuguna to close friends.

Very thoughtful and monitors medication closely. Came to her knowing I need medication, but took into account my concerns about taking too many and wanting to avoid intense meds. I love that she takes the time to get to know you and check in on your life compared to other psych's I've had that just handed out medications.

Dr. Bahuguna is exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate. She takes time to get a full understanding of the situation/condition and continues the monitor meds and check in - in a meaningful way. She also is meticulous with records and diligent about staying in communication with me. Further she has been an invaluable help with submitting required documentation for my employer - an area in which I have found other doctors sorely lacking. I would recommend Dr. B to anyone in need of psychiatric care, and have referred more than one acquaintance to her.

This doctor is very knowledgable and listens careful to your concerns. She doesn’t just gove meds out like other Psychiatrists. For any concerns she calls back personally right away. Even in the middle of the night, if it’s urgent she will call back.

A physician to listens AND gives feedback, Dr. Bahuguna has helped me work through some issues. In the past, I had therapists who "just sat back and listened" so when I left, I felt like I had no more answers than when I came in. Dr. Baghuna is great....helpful and kind.

Dr. Bahuguna met me at a bad point in my life, and after one appt., she was all but calling me an alcoholic and treating me as such. It was a very large assumption on her part and very offensive, something my wife and I very much agree on. She is complete in her dx, but after I stabilized, she continued to insist I meet w/her monthly to get a refill on my meds, at an out of pocket cost to me. She is very hard to contact, requiring callers to go through a service that is inconsistent at best. She is very old school in her approach, curt, and in my opinion, very judgmental.

Dr. Bahuguna has been my psychiatrist for eight (8) years. She is excellent. She is a compassionate and astute listener, and she always asks the correct questions to confirm that I'm doing okay. She prescribes medications that are 100% perfect for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Bahuguna to anyone.

Dr. Bahuguna is an excellent psychiatrist. She's very attentive and listens to everything you have to say. It's clear that she has a lot of expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. She's knows exactly what she's doing when it comes to medications and dosage amounts. I'm also grateful for her support throughout the process of applying for disability benefits.
