Dr. Stillman has been treating for years, and I would not see anyone else. Very approachable, friendly and brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Stillman is the consummate role model of what a physician should be. I dealt with a plethora of specialists and neuro-ophthalmologists at the University of Pittsburgh's Medical Center, yet they seemed to compete with each other and offer only one course of treatment for my agony. If that did not work, they no longer wanted to see me. Dr. Stillman could not be more different. The man is a genius! He acted as if I were the only patient he had and asked what I needed him to do (I thought I'd faint). He is brilliant, open-minded, and given me relief when no one else could except for a wonderful colleague, Dr. Lisa Lystad, at the Cleveland Clinic. He explored all issues and treatments with me and was most amiable at all times. I had grown used to a patronizing attitude, but he is anything but condescending. Dr. Mark Stillman is a Godsend! If you have neurological/pain issues, please see him and you will not be disappointed.

My son saw Dr. Stillman for chronic daily headaches. At first I thought he was a bit standoffish, but I found that he is just very, very thorough. Dr. did a very thorough exam. Dr. immediately put my son on I.V. drip for headaches to break the almost 4 year headache. Repeated I.V. 2 more times in next 3 business days. Drastically improved headache; went from average daily head pain rating of 6-7 (on pain scale of 10) to 2-3. We live 7 hours away so it's not practical to keep being treated in Cleveland. Dr. Stillman wanted my son to give himself headache injections, or have me or his father give him injections, but my son is too afraid to do this, which is too bad. Dr. Stillman answered all phone messages and called my son personally on numerous occasions to answer questions. Dr. Stillman is very caring and his staff is extremely responsive and helpful. My son has seen more than a dozen headache specialists. Dr. Stillman is the only headache neurologist who actually helped him.

Dr. Stillman takes great care and time with his patients, he's very up to date on all topics, and will take great care to see that the patient understands his treatment and he is never to rushed to hear and answer an open door question. You couldn't find a better or more caring Dr. and he actually remembers what you tell him. I rate him very highly and as a side note we travel nearly 5 hours just for his expertise, and we do it gladly as he is worth the trip.

I agree with the previous person about getting an appointment. I now book 6 months ahead and pray he does not change his schedule. Dr. Stillman and his staff are very knowledgeable and he is very caring.

Dr. Stillman is an excellent physician who takes time with his patients to explain his treatment plan. The only negative I can report is difficulty in getting an appointment without waiting months.
