Dr. Schaefer-Foldvary has continued to above and beyond to help in this journey of narcolepsy. She truly listens and provides me with a sense of care and commitment to find solutions for all the symptoms and effects this disease has brought on. I feel in great hands and she truly is a expert on this disease.

I used to rave about her. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and gives you the time that you need- until my last visit. She was running so far behind that she only saw me for 15 minutes (of a 45 min. appointment) because by the time she got to me it was after 5p. You only get to see an MD once a year at the Cleveland Clinic so I had a lot to discuss with her. She told me to "message her on MyChart" if I had more issues to discuss. Inacceptable. Her charting about my visit was less than truthful; stating that
assessments were performed that were not, she said that I was "stable, no changes". Far from the truth.

I have had Epilepsy since the age of 15. I am now 45. I have been to several Neurologists including the University of Chicago over the years due to the fact that my seizures are not well controlled. Not one of these physicians were able to offer me any help or seemed to care. Dr Foldvary is THE BEST physician I have ever known and went to. I have been seeing her now for two years. She and her staff are always very professional whenever I call and my calls are always returned promptly with an answer. I highly recommend her to anyone needing an excellent and well educated Neurologist.

Dr Foldvary is the BEST Neurologist I have ever went to. I have been diagnosed with Epilepsy since I was 15 and now i am 45. I have seen several Neurologists, but thankfully I found Dr Foldvary. She has excellent office staff and is an extremely knowledgable physician who I would recommend to anyone!!

I had taken my daughter to the three family doctors, one hospital, a pulmonologist, a neurologist, spent 5 days in an epilepsy unit, she saw an epileptologist sleep specialist at Hershey Med. Center and was completely dismissed! We spent an hour with Dr. Foldvary and right away she confirmed what we had been telling the other "specialists" for 6 months....Narcolepsy with cataplexy. Doctor Foldvary is caring and listens!!! She spent time with us the next day and called us when we got home from our trip to confirm all that we talked about and the changes that have to be made. THANK GOD for Dr. Foldvary Schaefer!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Foldvary for at least 5 years now. She is WONDERFUL!!! Imagine, a doctor that actually takes time to listen to you and figure out what is going on instead of just pushing you out the door with a prescription after 5 minutes in the office. Highly recommended!
