The dr himself is very knowledgeable and kind. His office staff was always very courteous to us but when I called to make another appointment his office manager answered and was extremely rude. I wasn’t aware she was the manager until I asked to speak to the manager. She laughed and told me there’s no one above her. I politely hung up and called the other office she answered and said, it’s me now what? Apparently both numbers are connected. She ended up screaming at me. It was a mess Iin which I’ve never eperienced. She also told me since I didn’t under her because she only gave me half the info, she was putting on the list to never return. Before she hung up she made sure to tell me that ppl like me are the reason she always has to have someone sitting next to her because she always gets complaints and they are not her fault. If she’s allowed to have such horrible ways, I can imagine his staff will start going downhill. It starts from the top.

I had bad allergies and he helped me so much. His receptionist was always courteous. The nurse that gave me shots was always personable and did a wonderful job.

The only good thing about this doctor is his receptionist in Valpo. His nurse was very vocal about talking about patients in the hall, and he gladly joined in by making unpleasant comments. Extremely unprofessional, coming from someone who was in desperate need of help.

This is a horrible doctor who thinks he knows everything. He prescribes medication without checking other pre-exisisting conditions.. He and his associate prescribed medication to my son who had cataracts that caused his cataract to progress to a horrible state of a whitened iris. My son is blind in that eye now. My son and I will for the rest of our lives regret trusting you. I would have appreciated you at least explaining the consequences.

Doctor Blumenthal has been a wonderful healing force in my life. Suffering from COPD and Asthma and not able to breath without struggle . He consulted once when he was not my Doctor and reconnected as my Doctor. I now am able to do normal activities and am losing weight again it feels so good to take a deep breath Wonderful Wonderful Doctor and miracle worker as far as I am concerned. I could not get enough air to walk across a room and now I am full power Thanks to him and his knowledge patience and true caring.

We are so thankful for this office! Dr. B sent us to the ER after being in touch with us multiple times on a weekend, where our son was diagnosed with cellulitis in his eye. If we had kept him home, the outcome could have been awful. All five of our children go to this office and we have no complaints. Helpful staff, fitting us in during emergencies, prompt responses on the phone, and an average wait time. We have highly recommended them to other friends as well.

I brought my son into the office 06/03/13 as a new patient with asthma and chronic allergies, I was so impressed by Dr. Blumenthal and his knowledge. I have been to many specialists and my son's pediatrician searching for answers and I believe I may finally have them. Dr. Blumenthal's approach is differnt then any other Dr. I have been to, he wants to help my child get better instead of giving him constant steroids. I am so impressed with him and his staff! I would recommend him to anyone that needs help and answers!
