She is the best doctor i've ever met . I am new here in newfoundland and i met already some of the doctor but i might say that she is the best.. She cared a lot for her patience.as per my experience her staff was the one to called me for to know that the doctor wants to see me for check up. And not that every time i went her and if i had a problem for my help she always give me an advise and at the same time she was willingly listened for what i ask for.. Meaning she had time for all her patience. For me she is higly recommended doctor..

I agree with the other reviewer. I have been seeing Dr Lane since she came to the original practice. At first she was amazingly warm and seemed like she wanted to genuinely help you. This past year or two something has changed. She's been snarky whenever I've asked questions and have a hard time getting her to fill prescriptions for drugs I have been on for years (not anything controlled, or narcotic, just stomach medication). I hope it changes or soon I am going to leave.

I thought Dr.Lane was wonderful when I first started seeing her. After she was only at the Lawrence Park practice, she became more hurried in her diagnosis. Instead of listening and offering heartfelt advice, I feel as if I waste her time asking any and all questions I have. I don't feel valued anymore, or really listened too. I understand people have bad days, but this has been more than once. This is my health and I really feel I need to find a new doctor. I would urge her to try to explain medications more thoroughly and seem a lot more empathetic to her patients instead of as a " know it all " - who just spits out advice as if we should already know it. Well, that's why I am here isn't it ? To find out from the professional ? However, she is not acting like a professional. I feel more upset after seeing her rather than helped. I hope she reads this and realizes how she can help her patients instead of hurting them.

Instead of doing the job an on call doctor should be doing, like refilling emergency prescriptions, she decided to judge me and my lifestyle without knowing anything about me, lecturing me on what the right way to go about dealing with my life threatening disease (asthma), and refused to see the urgency or the fact that not everyone can just walk into an emergency room for any old thing and be able to afford it. I couldn't believe she had the audacity to try to tell me how I should live my life literally without know a single thing about me, and she wasn't willing to hear it. All I needed her to do was call a pharmacy to refill my inhaler prescription. I don't think it's that hard. She actually said that's "not her job". What is your job, then? Why have I never had an issue with this in the past from other on call doctors? Shame on you.
