Someone confirmed a 10 am appointment with me, then they sent me away because I didn't come in at 9:45. Treated me like I was a child. So rude and inflexible, like they can't wait to turn patients away. I had already turned in all paperwork weeks prior as well, they couldn't (or wouldn't) explain how I was late.

I made a BIG mistake in this follow-up visit to Dr. Wasser yesterday. I have all the symptoms of Sjogrens Syndrome and they are getting worse. He was arrogant, rude and condescending towards me. He lacks knowledge about the conditions which his specialty is supposed to be treating. My left knee was killing me and I thought that he would at least help me look into the problem as I once had water on the knee. He treated me with disrespect as I am not 25 anymore. Well neither is he. He is too old to be offending patients who come to him for help and should retire. We lack this type of specialist in Monmouth County and perhaps more should open offices here so that we can get proper medical evaluations!! I wasted my time, money and left feeling so discouraged. The quality of my life matters to me, but don't go to Wasser because he doesn't care one bit.

I was referred to this Doctor from my primary care Doctor after reporting symptoms of lethargy, severe pain and stiffness. His response to my symptoms were, I don’t understand what you are doing here. After exam, claimed I was fine. 6 weeks later could no longer get out of bed, diagnosed at Hospital for Special Surgery with serious rheumatoid arthritis. Avoid this Doctor.

If you want a doctor that cares do not go to Dr Wasser. The staff is rude and you get the impression he just wants to get out of there. He and his staff will not go out of their way to help you in any way.

I'm sure he's smart, no way else to rate hom. But if you're looking for a doctor who will listen to you, go somewhere else. Completely offensive in his disregard for patients

Worst doctor I've ever seen. He ignored lab results and gave me the 'you are a middle aged tired woman' speech. Got even more confrontational once he knew I was a nurse. Spare yourself the insults and disparaging remarks and go to a good rheumatologist who is up on current treatments and accurate diagnostics, not one who judges you instantly on appearances.

I am a young 45 year old woman who has been suffering from RA for almost 12 years. Dr Wasser was the first and only Dr who actually diagnosed me with "something" rather than dismissing my sympthoms like everyone else had. I agree he is not overly friednly ,however I do not feel he needs to be. My time as well as his is limited.I have never been treated rudely,hastily or misdiagnosed in any way from either him or his staff,and I've been seeing him religiously for well over 10 years now.
