He might be a very helpful doctor but his staff is horrible!!Not recommended at all. If you want to wait 2 hours for a 7 minutes appointment go ahead and schedule with Dr. Chambliss. I should've read reviews before. Now I know. Fortunately it was just my annual; can't imagine how it is for people who need to see a doctor on a regular basis :(

Dr. Chambliss is a rare type of doctor in New York. I've been to a handful of different practices in the city, most of which are run like factories oriented towards getting as many people through with the minimal attention. Dr. Chambliss, by comparison, is patient, knowledgable, kind, and thorough. I didn't think doctors like him existed in NYC!

Dr. Chamblis is smart, skillful and helpful. He is a kind and worldly man, and is non-judgemental with his patients - you can talk to him about any problem at all, and if it's something he's unfamiliar with, he'll research it. He's been helpful when I've gotten sick thousands of miles away, and during office visits takes the time to talk and answer my questions. He's just an all-around excellent GP.
