I have been a nurse for 32 years so when it came to picking a MD to work on my veins, well it was an easy choice. I am so pleased with what Dr. West did for me. I had large, protruding, painful vericose viens on my right front leg, and after he stripped them, they cannot be seen at all now. AND, very little pain during the process! I also had an a significent area behind my left knee/leg area that was dark purple with spider veins. I was expecting to be treated with Foam Sclerotherapy at least 2 or 3 times before it would not be noticeable, but I only needed one treatment and I felt like it met and surpassed my expectations! I am more than pleased but not all too surprised given Dr West's background as a cardiovascular surgeon. I will also say that he and his staff are serious yet fun and personal. I felt like I was part of a family! Great expierence with little pain and wonderful results. As a nurse, what better recomendation can you have. Don't hesitate.

Dr. West fixed my spider veins using very tiny needles that barely hurt at all. I thought it would be painful but was pleasantly surprised at my comfort level. Everyone at the Santa Barbara Vein Center was friendly and caring. The office was beautiful and felt more like a home than a doctor's office. I would happily recommend Dr. West to anyone.
