Oh why didn't I read all of these reviews before going to see her! This was absolutely the most horrible doctor visit I have had in my life! Waited 3 hours to be seen as a new patient because she was "stuck in meetings downstairs." She comes in and didn't ask any questions about my condition, talked over me the entire time, and kept searching things on GOOGLE! What real doctor searches things on Google in front of her patients?! Spent more time cooing about her little "child," her dog, who follows her everywhere and event has beds in the exam room (so unprofessional). I couldn't get any answers to my questions about a condition I've been struggling to define for 12 years. Instead she just threw prescriptions at me, yelling, "Ma'am, ma'am. doctors can't cure anything but broken bones and infections! I don't know how long you need to take this medicine." Didn't seem at all interested in when I should follow up with her. I left there convinced I would never go back! Her staff members seem terrified of her and she attacks them in front of patients. If I could figure out how to and had time to ger her medical license revoked, I would do it. This woman is an absolute nutcase. I seriously think she may have Aspbergers Syndrome. Do not, not, not go there. Please read all of the other comments here. I sure wish I had! Wish this form didn't require I give her at least 1 star. She ain't a star by any description!

Worst bedside manner of any doctor. Staff seems even afraid of Dr. Sloan. Be prepared to wait 1-3 hours to see her. She is rude, she interrupts you, she is full of herself and uses terms you will not understand and makes you feel stupid when you ask questions to understand what she is explaining. The sad thing is she seems very smart but her communication skills are truly awful.

My elderly mother has been treated by Dr. Sloan for several years. When my parents could no longer drive and I started taking her to appointments I noted that the wait time is always long. Once she had a 1 o'clock appointment and we didn't leave the office til 6 p.m.! Then once you do get to the exam room, she is frequently interrupted by her staff to solve some problem, so she leaves the exam room to take a call or do something on the computer, etc., instead of doing that after she finishes seeing the patient. They seem to have no respect for the patient's time. They don't give morning appointments because Dr. Sloan prefers not to come into the office til afternoon. Most recently my mom developed a new problem and her primary care doctor told her to see her neurologist in the next week. I called to get her an appointment and was told they were booked up and could only see her if they had a cancellation. Apparently they have no procedure for seeing a long-time patient for an unexpected problem! Dr. Sloan can also come across as rude and condescending to patients and family. We are now looking for another neurologist to take over my mom's care.

This doctor is the worst thing I have EVER seen. I should have looked at the reviews before going in, because they are all accurate. Waited 2 1/2 hours my first visit to get my EEG. Kept asking when I was going to be seen, and no one seemed to knew. Had a follow up with them a week later to get my test results. Was told my appointment was at 11:30, but to call them at 11:30 to get an exact time because the doctor may not be there. How is that even an option? This is someones health. So, thats exactly as I did. Called back at 11:30, then was told to call back at 1:30 to get a better time frame. Was told at 2 that she was not going to come in, then randomly got a call saying she was on her way. I drive up there, leaving work, not convenient what-so-ever, and get to the office. I was told she would be there in 5 minutes, waiting over an hour till I had enough, asked for my money back and my results so I could take them else where. The front desk girls were very sweet, I honestly felt bad for them always having to hear people go off because there doctor they work for doesn't give a s*^^ about her patients. Words can not explain how horrible of an experience this was. She shouldn't even get a full star.

Terrible in every way. You'll wait on her for 3 hours. She has one objective, and that is to send you over to her buddy at Houston Spine so and so, so she can get her cut. Here's the thing. I've already used those guys and have a better chiro I prefer. So she insults me and walks out of the little room with her dog that follows her everywhere. Ridiculous experience. Go see an orthopedic doctor. Wasted my insurances 6 grand here.

DO NOT make an appointment with Dr. Sloan unless you have absolutely NOTHING to do for about 5 hours, I waited 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room, then another hour in the examining room, she has terrible bed side manner and gives the air that HER time is much more important than yours ! She even makes you sign a agreement to pay a fee if you miss an appointment which I think is ridiculous considering she has NO regard for your time. I will not go back to her and I don't know why anyone would subject themselves to the idiotic way she does business. If there is anything less than a one rating that is what I give her!!!!

Terrible beside manner. Longest wait I've ever had to wait for a doctor. Gave wrong diagnosis as I got a second opinion. Waste of time and money. I strongly do not recommend her!

Dr Sloan is a very good doctor. She is patient and she explains what going on with you very clearly. She answers all questions you ask her. I've never had any complaints the staff. Yes , the wait is long but she is very good at what she does. I would recommend her! Because of her and her staff I have better control over epilepsy.
