Recently switched to Dr Friedman and am so impressed with him. He is kind, caring, knowledgeable and an overall great guy. I never feel rushed and am able to ask all the questions I need to. He always explains his reasoning and listens to my concerns. Best doctor ever.

Dr. Jeff Friedman is by far the most knowledgeable diagnostician and approachable physician that I have encountered in more decades of life than I care to count. I always feel completely assured that I am receiving the very best of care from him, and my friends agree (most of whom now see him as their primary care physician as well). In addition to his expertise, and as important, is Dr. Friedman's caring and supportive treatment of his patients. I thoroughly enjoy his easy-going, reassuring manner and his friendly sense of humor. I actually look forward to my doctor's visits, when the need arises, because he always makes even an uncomfortable situation a bit more pleasant. I recommend him wholeheartedly, although if he has any fault at all, it is that he is already in such great demand that it is sometimes hard to get an appointment. However, someone in the office (also wonderful) will always see a patient on the same day requested. In summary, Dr. Friedman is simply the best!

This doctor is the most caring, knowledgible,helpful, personable doctor I have. Returns phone calls and is always there when you need him. What else would you want in a doctor - he is the best!!

This doctor is nice, but his staff out front is rude and embarrassing to patients. You are pushed to see the NP instead of the doctor.

Has been our PCP for 17 years. We were patients #1 and #2 when he went out on his own. This doc is a good man and is a gem. He saved my husband's life. He truly CARES about his patients. I'm not the easiest due to my health issues and jokingly call myself his favorite pain in the @ss. Makes him laugh. He spends all the time needed, so while he may run late from time to time, rest assured, you will also get the time you need. He's an excellent diagnostician and if he feels it's best for you to see a specialist, you know to listen. He will help you in any way he can. He's even called me from his cell phone after work just to calm a nervous or upset patient. I know if I leave a message, he will always call me personally. I treasure this doctor. If only more like him were out there, this world would be a better place. Smart, down to earth, friendly, caring...what more can a patient ask?

He is by far one of the top Doctors in Connecticut. As the other comments have mentioned, he makes you feel secure and doesn't make you feel like he's rushing you. This is why one might have to wait a few extra minutes for their appointment. The waiting time is worth it because you know that he will dedicate the same time to you as well. I highly recommend Dr. Friedman to anyone who is family oriented and wants a Doctor who is friendly, helpful, and educated.

He's been my PCP for many years. My only complaint is that he and his nurse practitioners routinely make you wait 40 minutes beyond your appointment time and they offer no weekend or evening hours, which is quite inconvenient.

A rare doctor who is caring and takes the time to listen rather than jumping to the first diagnosis that comes to mind. Excellent, comforting manner. Outstanding diagnostician. Not uncomfortable referring to alternative medicine practitioners.
