Avoid. Find a skilled and competent dentist.

In 2002 I had a routine exam and cleaning. Lo and behold, Dr Charbonneau found a cavity. Which was incorrectly filled. I was having no issues at the time. Subsequently, I was back in his office and required a root canal. Between the cleaning and follow up trips from the root canal- it totaled 7 visits. My current dentist in California, who is outstanding, politely said the dental work involving the cap was low quality.

Not sure if things have changed, but at the time there was no office staff. Dr Charbonneau was acting as the receptionist while busy cleaning my teeth. He was also bickering with his partner, the other dentist in the practice.

I have been going to Dr Charbonneau for over fifteen years and I have found him professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. My previous dentist had caused me multiple problems and Dr Charbonneau went to bat to help me keep my teeth

I went to this dentist several years ago after receiving a coupon for a free cleaning & exam. The free cleaning cost well over $100.00 after all the x rays were taken & I have no issue with that that was fine. The problem was that the man told me that I had 13 cavities & they all needed to be filled, I couldn’t believe it, at the time I was having no issues with my teeth so I decided to hold off & that was a bit too much money for me to afford at the time. Still worrying about my teeth I went to a dentist who happened to be a family friend of the guy I was dating at the time a few months later, he advised me that I had no cavities & he didn’t understand what the other dentist saw. It is now over 10 years later & I only have one cavity & I am glad I didn’t let that man drill holes into my perfectly fine & healthy teeth. I am great full for this opportunity to let people know what happened to me, I always wanted to let it be known so others could protect themselves.
