Where do I even begin? For someone who “specializes” in fertility, a very sensitive matter for most couples, Dr. Brown should have more compassion and empathy when dealing with his patients. This is NOT the case. Not only did he speak to my husband and I in a very condescending and humiliating manner, he seemed to be annoyed that we would dare to ask questions. He delivered some pretty negative and heartbreaking news; naturally, I had questions. Instead of answering them and clarifying for us, he just barreled through, throwing scientific, medical jargon at us. After I became physically ill in his office because I was so over whelmed, he did not bother to stop talking or offer any kind of assistance. I would say he is almost sadistic in the way he handles his patients. I will be reporting a complaint to the medical board.

I have had many unsuccessful IUI’s with Dr.Brown. No formal workup on my infertility issue, only told that i was too old at 40. He never did one single blood test the whole time i was having the IUI’s. Ultasounds around the expected time of ovulation seemed to be a bother and really of no need, although it was important to me knowing that the timing was crucial. Very insensitive bedside manner. Closed on weekends, what infertility office does that? Not the ones in Houston. Would not waste your time or money

This office and doctor was completely rude and insensitive. Appointments were cancelled at the last minute and patients were blamed for this. I would not recommend this office to anyone, worst service ever!

Solo puedo decir que mi experiencia en Valley's fertility center fue la mejor! Excelente trato de parte de Dr. Estaban. O Brown y su staff! El Dr. Brown fue muy directo y honesto con nosotros y su trato muy profecional ademas su staff desde recepcionista hasta enfermeras son muy candidas siempre dispuestas a resolver dudas hasta por telefono! Gracias a Dios y a La sabiduria de el Dr. Brown ahora tengo a mi bebe y estamos muy contentos! "Believing is just the beggining. Dr. Brown is an excellent doctor who help me with an IVF 18 yrs ago and with his great knowledge I got pregnant on the first try . We just celebrated my daughter's 17 birthday.

I have had 3 IUIs with him and all 3 have been unsuccessful. I went it being cleared by my OBGYN as having no problems. I feel like he concentrated more on me than my husband, considering that my husbands motility was a little low. When going in for the IUI procedures he acted surprise that I wanted to have an ultra-sound to see if I was ovulating. He made inappropriate jokes as if I am not in a sensitive moment when I asked if we had missed my ovulation window. As i researched IUIs, he did nothing of what research states doctors do. I had a friend also going through this procedure out of town and had an immense amount of attention and medical care from her fertility doctor. I not go to him again even if he is rated #1 out of 2 doctors here in the RGV. He also recommended an invasive procedure which I know I don't need and was going charge so much money. When I asked if my OBG could do that procedure if needed that way my insurance covered it, they were hesitant to answer and told me yes. This man has been doing this for so long and takes advantage of women who are emotionally exhausted. I am currently looking for other ways to address my fertility challenges.

At 48 years old and my tubes tied, we were able to conceive with the help of Dr. Brown expertise and donor's eggs. We started mid February and by April I was pregnant at the first IVF try. We have a beautiful 6 week old baby boy. We still have some frozen embryos that we are considering another baby when the time is right. The cost of this process may be a little high, it's a bargain when you see the end result, the miracle of life. Dr. Brown's prices are better than other doctors outside the Rio Grande Valley. ( I did my research) We recommend Dr. Brown to anyone with a fertility issue. I am so sorry for those couples who are not able to conceive. Don't blame Dr. Brown or take it out on him with a bad review. There is no guarantee you will conceive but at least you know you tried. You can always adopt. SANDY
