Only had 1 visit and then I switched Dr. The nurses for the doctor were just as unhelpful as the Dr was. I made an appointment for irregular cycles and by the time I had the appointment I was pregnant. They would not listen to me about how far along I was, it was very very early. They got on me about my weight, and my Blood pressure when my regular Dr. had already cleared me to try to conceive. They immediately did an ultrasound, disregarding the fact it would have been to early to see anything. The Dr told me I was having a miscarriage. I reiterated more than 3 times how early it was and she said she couldn’t go by my information. They sent me for blood work to confirm, no one got back to me with the results. I had to call to get them. Everything came back great. When I asked for my tests to be send to a new DR it took 7 days and another phone call from me to get them to do it and they were rude since I voiced my concerns. And they billed my insurance wrong costing me out of pocket.

New to the Sarasota area, I did not have time to research thoroughly my choice for a doctor. Unknown to me, I was pregnant with TWINS and miscarried one. She told me it was a complete miscarriage. Since I had several miscarriage in the past, I asked her to do a sono to confirm that there was no remaining tissue. She assured me it was a complete miscarriage. 8 weeks later, I was still firm to touch and was getting larger. I went back to her and long behold, there was my daughter alive and well. I am so thankful that I did not consume any liquor during the holidays. Additionally, her bed side manner is very POOR and she is NOT approachable nor does she give you the opportunity to disuss concerns you may have. She is not warm and friendly and does not maker herself availble. I JUST shared this story with someone and she told me that her sister had the EXACT same experience. Miscarried 1 child and was still pregant with the other. Please, Research and find another OB/GYN!

I am a 59 year old female, referred to Dr. Doyle by my primary care physician, due to abnormal ultra sound results. Dr. Doyle could tell on our first visit, that I feared I had cancer. She was very compassionate, held my hand, and told me everything would be fine. She spent a great deal of time explaining, to me and my husband, the possible causes of the abnormal ultra sound. A D&C was scheduled. The day of the surgery (which was performed in her office) she and the anesthesiologist, Dr Epstein, could not have been nicer. They were both very compassionate and calmed my fears. The procedure went well, and I am happy to say I do not have cancer. However, if the biopsy results had shown I did have cancer, I would want Dr. Doyle to perform the hysterectomy. Waiting in her office for an appointment, was worth it to get a well qualified surgeon.

I had been going to this doctor for 8 years without issue. I was recently started on medication to help with prolonged, heavy and painful periods. The medication made my symptoms worse and I was told, "The medication is doing what the doctor wants it to do" by Sally the nurse. I knew this could not be the case so I argued the point and was offered an appt with another MD in the practice (Dr D. was on vacation). Dr Garner saw me and was wonderful! He spent considerable time with me and was extremely thorough. He agreed that the symptoms were not expected and offered multiple courses of treatment as well as some additional testing (to include checking CBC as I was at risk for anemia). I asked to switch to his practice for this treatment plan and he agreed. I was so happy with this visit which validate I was not wrong..as I was made to feel stupid by Sally when we spoke on the phone.

I brought in my daughter for her fist gyno appt and found Dr. Doyle to be extremely patient, kind, knowledgable and understanding. I will switch to her myself and will highly recommend her to others. After reading the other reviews of Dr. Doyle, I became concerned but am happy that I decided to see for myself.

Dr. Doyle provided me with conflicting advice from appointment to appointment, was consistently late, was curt and dismissive of questions, and misread my chart. The practice also has billing practices that are, at best, unclear, and at worst, deceptive. I left the practice during my second trimester when I decided I no longer trusted her to care for me and my baby.
