I've been going to this Dr. for many years. He recently hired a new office manager and every since, the service is horrible I'm thinking of changing doctors.

My mom had been seeing Dr.De Jesus for 2 yrs for bone treatment. She went for her final check up and when she tried to set up a follow-up appt by phone, she was told by the new Office Manager not to come back because my mom spoke SPANISH!! Then when I took my mom to pick up her medical records since the patient has the right to see them and pick them up, the Office Manager REFUSED to give them to us. We ended up going to another Dr. and that Dr asked Dr. De Jesus's office to send him her medical records. I don't recommend this Dr. I've never met Dr. De Jesus in person but with my mom's experience, I would never go see him! My mom says she was going to him because he spoke SPANISH! So what is this? "Come and I'll take your money for 2 yrs, then don't come back because you speak Spanish and I don't WANT to give you your medical records." The office manager also threatened my mom that complaining will not get us anywhere because no one listens to the elderly!

I have worked for Dr.De Jesus at 2 different locations and can tell you patients, he truly does care about you folks. Not easy to see what goes on behind the curtains, but as part of a medical team, we do have to juggle. He's an extremely compassionate and due to his specialty, it does take time to address the extreme symptoms you present, therefore, causing the delay. please also keep in mind that emergencies do arise, especially in medicine...that's his job! As for his staff now, I cannot comment on that, but I do believe doctors are unaware of the real inadequacies of staff. wish they would keep in mind, the true reason behind healthcare..treating every patient as if they are family! To the patients, I do sympathize with having to wait when you're not feeling good (trust me, I had to hear some of you angry patients =) but I've seen/heard first hand how much he does care. patience as a patient is GREATLY appreciated.

I came to this dr on a referral because I could barely walk and had just left my employer on short-term leave due to my symptoms. First visit he didnt even touch me to understand pain, symptoms etc - just handed me a copied paper on fibromyalgia & said read it. No other discussion. He said come back the day before my leave was over for 2nd visit & he'd fill out mandatory papers. Since it was wks betwn visits my GP set my up w/pain specialist (I also had 2 damaged cervical disks) & therapyst to deal w/loss of functions. When he found out at 4:30 the day before my sh-term leave expired, that I had seen a pain specialist he was very angry, saying his office could've done those things. He fired me on the spot and refused to complete my papers, costing me ALL my disability coverage. He never had the nerve to say that's what he did, he let his nurse tell me, now 5:45 the day before papers were due, that I couldn't come back. A heartless, money hungry egotist. Steer clear. He only hurt me

Wow! It appears that the Office Manager not only TRIES to run the office but also is handling this doctor's personal life and chooses who his patients can be. She is by far the rudest Office Admin and most uncaring person I have ever met - No business in the medical field. The doctor himself is very efficient and one of the best in the field but he has NO IDEA what is going on in his front office. Every visit (monthly) we wait on average 1.5 Hours jsut to get to an examination room then about another 30 minutes before we see him.

He's a good, knowledgeable doctor, but kicked my mother out of his practice after she complained about about his tardiness. It was not unusual to be at his office for at least two hours at very appointment.
