10/27/2015 first visit in diagnostic change, have confidence in Lovitt. Returning for EMG.

I had an appointment with Dr. Lovitt to confirm a prior diagnosis. He was very thorough in examining my symptoms and getting my medical history. He communicated very clearly with me and I did not feel rushed or that he was in a hurry to get to the next patient. Dr. Lovitt had the foresight to bring up any issues my medication would have in childbearing, which is not an immediate concern but will be in a few years.

I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Lovitt to get a second opinion of my MRI, and his nurse said I can't make an appointment. I never saw him but his staff is rude and they seem too busy for patients and don't care about people. I have never hear this before!

I have seen Dr Lovitt several times. he was extremly knowledgeable and very helpful. I really liked that he did not want me to waste money just to tell him my medication was the the correct amount. I just had to call his nurse and let her know and she spoke with him and then called in additional medicine. He is very no non-sense.

I went to see Dr. Lovitt for migraines. I soon left his practice for another neurologist because he offered no help finding the cause, kept me on medication I shouldn't have been taking, and upon learning that I was leaving him, had his secretary give me the results of my MRI "normal," which I later learned indicated migraine disease. This Dr. should be avoided.

Thumbs down. Once he is stumped, he just drops you. He doen't even refer you to another (Better) neurologist.

ordered an MRI and when it did not show what he was looking for, he had his secretary call and say that he was "stumped" and that was that. He did no follow-up, ordered no further tests, and, as it turns out, he missed the diagnosis completely.
