Dr. Towbin is very knowledgeable and concerned physician. He takes a much time as needed with us in order to meet the needs of my child. We have been with him for over five years and have been very satisfied with his care and concern about every issue my child's complex health. He does a fabulous job explaining medications, therapy, and anything we have questions about that has to do with my child's complex health issues. We feel very blessed to have a physician as qualified as him.

Dr Towbin is a genuinely caring person that is extremely knowledgeable in the field of epilepsy. He listens to his patients and families and will make sure you understand everything before you leave the clinic. I couldn't recommend any doctor any more for epilepsy than I do Dr Towbin.

I have been a patient of his for 5 years now and he is an amazing doctor .He knows what he is talking about and explains things so you can understand them. He will take as much time with you that you need. Every time I have an appointment I don't expect to get back right away simply because I know that he takes his time with his patients. So if you don't want to have to wait then your probably not going to be getting the best care from that doctor . And if you are ever in the hospital due to your epilepsy he is right there the whole time to figure out what the best plan is to get them under control .

This is the most intelligent doctor I have ever seen. In addition, he is highly effective in communicating medical terms to patients. I credit him for literally saving my life. He is extremely detail oriented and extremely thorough going over all your medical history. Finally, I found someone who could actually help me. He's very compassionate, and his staff are attentive, organized and kind too. He's brilliant. Yes, wait times can be long for appointments, but it is worth every minute in order to see such a great physician.

Amazing Doctor, one of the smartest Doctors I have ever met. Truly cares about his patients and always seems to amaze me with the depth of his knowledge. His decisions and recommendations have truly been life saving more than once. the only negative I have is the wait time, because he takes the time to answer all your questions he tends to run late. He has been the only Doctor in his practice but just got some more help so the wait times issue seems to have cleared up. Loved the new Dr. as well, she is really caring and a great addition.

Dr. 5owbin was very late for my appointment, however he apologized and explained the emergency. I was glad to see that he wanted to help his patients. The office staff could have been more explanitority about the wait other than just letting me sit there. The one thing I adored was the fact that he spent 45 minutes with me. I have never had a doctor spend 45 minutes with me in my whole life and I am 43. He took the time to listen and explain what I needed to know. He was wonderful.

1. Dr. Towbin was once 4.5 hours late for an appointment, which caused me to miss even more college classes than necessary -- not even a casual apology for the inconvenience. 2. Always a sense of being too hurried to talk to me about my concerns regarding my epilepsy and drugs. 3. I told him I wanted to taper off my medicine -- my simple partial seizures were made worse by side-effects: Carbatrol & Lamictal cause depression & fatigue, and fatigue triggers my seizures ... the depression just sucked with no other repercussions, of course -- he told me I could NOT due to "risk." I went against his orders & tapered off anyway safely, decreasing by 100 mg per week. I told him my plan and I received a letter dismissing me as a patient due to "complications in our doctor-patient relationship." I'm better off than ever with no meds in my system, my epilepsy is more under control than ever, & I'm so glad that I followed my own intuition.
