Nurse and dr constantly talk over you. No time for questions and when you have one they ask why you didn’t ask previously. Waited 12 hours for surgery. Every appointment has a wait time. Chaotic environment. It’s as if it’s everyone’s first day on the job. I had to guess my own recovery time and get extensions for my fmla because he is not timely with urgent paperwork. Said he’d give an emergency number after surgery that I never received. Never received any paperwork about how to care for my wounds. Everything was googled on my end. No proper care or communication with patients. You leave appointments with more questions that no one can ever answer that’s if they even let you get a word in. I’ve been more stressed out dealing with the Dr and staff than I am about potentially having cancer spread.

Despite the positive reviews I would NEVER recommend Blomain!! He may be considered "best" in the Scranton area, but it truly doesn't take much talent to be the "best" guy in a room full of invalids. Scranton is a small, broke down, nothing of a city.
PLEASE for your own benefit look outside of this area. Go to NY or Philly. The NEPA area is where mediocre surgeons come to feel better about the fact they can't compete in the bigger cities where there is reall, experienced, and talented competition.
Blomain severely botched a procedure on my child and then tried to deny it and gloss over the obviously poor outcome. He even went as far as to intentionally leave obvious compilations out of his operating report!
My concerns were validated when several other specialized surgeons fron NY and Philly saw exactly what I was concerned about before I told them why I was seeking their evaluation.
All of them un knowingly and unanimously agreed that based solely on the results, Blomain obviously did not have the talent or expertise to perform the procedure he did, and they all strongly recommended against allowing him to preform a revision.
I would advise anyone considering Blomain to reconsider. Do yourself a favor and go to a real city where there is real talent. STAY AWAY FROM Eric Blomain!!

the waiting room is cramped and dank. waiting several times over an hour. pre-op visit surgery explained with a VCR tape that was broken. he was irate over obama care and got red face yelling about the president. charged for office visit to pick up lab slip. office visit for results. the girl in the office stated my insurance denied coverage for the procedure because she gave them a billing code that i have a rash (i don't!), but she could re-submit for an extra $50. she also told me to lose weight. my insurance agent said he never received anything from them at all. she was trying to swindle money from me. second visit the doctor said he didn't have my chart. he didn't know who i was or why i was there. exam room was smaller than a broom closet and dusty. horrible experience. looking for a new surgeon.

Can't say enough positive things about Dr. Blomain and his wonderful staff. I had 4 appointments before my surgery. He explained everything in detail and took his time at every appointment. I'm 8 days post op and am thrilled with my results. The day of my surgery I can honestly say the only reason I wasn't nervous was because of what an amazing dr he is.

Best plastic surgeon in NEPA. You will not be dissatisfied with his work. I was extremely pleased with my breast implants and rhinoplasty. You know he's a good surgeon when it doesn't take very long to heal. I would hands down recommend Dr. Blomain to anyone who asked.
