Dr Emert has been my internist for over 10 years and I wouldn't change to another dr. His "shared" staff from his prior office was as listed below not very good. The charming Anne has travelled with him with his "promotion" to Clinical Professor at NYU Medical School and when he joined the MS Faculty Practice. They have a professional caring and very effective office staff to augment the good Drs outstanding care. They even have a new great medical information system that makes access to all your medical informationa and commuicating extemely easy.

I love Dr. Emert and have reccomended many of my close friends to use him as their primary care physician. He's understanding, listens and always remembers and knows me and my medical history. It's very hard to find such a great doctor.

he listens with a unique gift of hearing what you, yourself, cannot articulate medically. i move 600 miles away, but travel back for check ups. brains with hollywood looks, you might feel you're on set instead of the doctor's office'

Dr.'s staff no worse than others, even better.Big problem is hours. No anouncement tape, when busy you get only busy signal. And no calls before 10:30 a.m. Dr Emert himself is wonderful, patient, listens, explains, knowledgeable.

Excellent overall as he pays attention to detail, spends time and explains everything, excellent bedside manor and personally calls to give test results. Has been my internist for almost 10 years.

GREAT GUY--calls personally with test results etc. Office overall-good-could use some more help with phones and billing-but fairly typical in the medical profession. But wonderful physician.

Dr. Emert is a consummate physician: He is focused on all apects of health and wellness and he gives his patients his undivided attention. He has an excellent bedside manner and he is calm and reassuring. Sadly, his office staff are a nightmare to deal with. I have called on multiple occasions (as an established patient) to try and get in to see him when feeling sick and each time I've called there was no appointment availability. I have referred friends to his office and new patient appointments are sometimes more than 6 weeks off. This is not some plastic surgery fad: He's an Internist and an Allergist and people with medical problems need attention sooner than 6 weeks in advance. He should consider getting new office staff that matches his level of competence. I had to switch physicians- I need a family doctor who can actually see me within 24 hours of a true, medical necessity appointment request.

Office staff is terrible, they won't even call in a prescription. I've been kept waiting over 30 minutes on many occasions. Dr Emert is nice once you get to see him but his staff is very annoying.

While the office staff can be brusque, they are actually quite helpful. Great nurse, not so great phlebotomist. Dr. Emert is very caring and helpful
