I would first like to say that I have never written a review before, nor called to complain about any type of medical service. It appears that I had a very different experience with Dr. Pattee. I am young (25) and do question whether my age had something to do with the disrespectful, condescending manner in which I was treated. I will share that I am a teacher and have had many types of social interactions, none of which compare to my experience today with Dr. Pattee. I have received nothing but excellent medical service in the past and have had wonderful luck with doctors. My uncle is a doctor and I know how caring and compassionate they can be, unfortunately my experience today was not. My husband and I are very new to the Maple Grove area and are looking to find a consistent health care provider in the area. With that being said, my experience today at Park Nicollet Clinic with Dr. Pattee was appalling and I will not be returning. When the appointment started, Dr. Pattee asked about my symptoms, to which I explained I have had a cough for 2 months and a sore throat for almost a week. Each time I began talking, Dr. Pattee interrupted me and talked very condescending toward me. He was arrogant, rude, pompous, and did not listen nor show concern for my health. He was very quick to share with me the 30 years of experience he has and the fact that he is retiring in December. It seemed as though he was a very impatient, arrogant, washed up doctor who needs to retire yesterday. It was so bad, that I actually ended our appointment early and shared with him that the way he was speaking to me made me very uncomfortable and that it was inappropriate. As I walked out the door in tears, he did apologize, but I will not be returning and I would recommend other patients to see another doctor.
