Refused to even deal with my dx of fibromyalgia. Didn't want to be bothered by a young women (26) that was crying in pain. Dropped me with NO explanation and no advice on where to go next. Staff who had no rights to records overheard discussing patients to people outside the office.

I have 11 physicians in my roster and they are all above average. This is the ONE I believe has the most comprehensive detailed grasp of my health care needs. When I have been in an unusually difficult rheumatoid situation , he has always been helpful, accessible a problem solver and opened doors to other care I may need. He once offered to visit me in a hospital when I was hospitalized for a different problem and while there an RA problem arose that the hospitalist did not know how to properly treat. This after seeing so many patients all day with--some with very very serious, and sometimes perhaps the lifethreatening illness of the arthritis family of over 199 diseases. I cannot ever thank him enough.

Dr. Roschmann is an excellent doctor who will spend the time with you to explain information to you. He is also willing to research things and try different treatment options with you. Dr. Roschmann can take a little time to warm up to, but you'll have one of the best rheumatologists in Michigan once you've established a relationship with him.

Absolutely the most pompous physician I have ever met. Refused to work well with my other physicians, over-prescribed drugs of dubious value, missed a crucial diagnosis, and never does rounds in the hospital unless another physician literally calls him and reads him the riot act. Patronizing and a real jerk
