Used to see this Doctor many years past. Dr.’s neglect cost me much of the life I could have.

Dr. Hsieh has saved my life. I have been seeing him for 20 years now, and he sees everyone from my grandma to my cousins and everyone in between. Though he is busy and has many responsibilities, for the last ten years of my time with him I have had cancer and many other serious health problems, and he has always taken the time to pursue the deeper issues and not just treat the symptoms. He has taken my symptoms and side effects far more seriously than even my oncologist did. And I have had many problems from everywhere on the spectrum. I see him every 3 months now and no longer see an oncologist. He always takes the time to go through my whole list of issues and has the best bedside manner ever. I owe my life and my sanity to him! I do have occasional issues getting staff to respond, but not so much recently.

Dr. Hsieh is a wonderful family doctor. All of my family members go to him and have experienced the same high quality care that I have. I admire his ability to treat the patient as a whole person and not just look at the obvious symptoms. I feel he goes above and beyond to ensure each patient gets the care they need and if he can't provide it he directs them to a physician or facility that can.

I saw Dr. Hsiegh for 12 years, the first 8 years I found him and his staff to be competent and helpful. The last 4 years I would often not get called back by his staff when it was appropriate. Dr. Hsiegh himself made many mistakes in the process of my care, The last two appt. I went to he insulted me and insinuated that I was faking an illness. I went to the Mayo clinic and found out I was in fact very ill. I have since found a new physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hsieh for over 25 years. My sister, mother, niece and nephews are all now seeing him. I moved away for a few years and could never find a physician that measured up to his knowledge and compassion. I was happy when I moved back that he took me back as a patient! I wish it wasn't so hard to get an appointment, and I wish the wait wasn't so long once you do get an appointment. I am glad however, that he takes the allotted/scheduled amount of time with each of his patients. He makes his patients feel like they are important.

Extremely skilled and busy doctor with many other responsibilities in the clinic and elsewhere. For some reason I no longer have a rapport with him and credit that to his being rushed with too many responsibilities combined with my own sensitivities/concerns as I age. Changes in procedures have been made but I don't feel he has taken time to hear my concerns about them; he just tells me how it is. Difficult though it was for me, I have found another physician in another clinic (NOT South Bend Clinic) who seems to better meet my needs. I was disappointed to have to make this change after 10 years.

I thought the staff was very nice however I had to wait months for an appt. and then had to wait 2 hours before I was seen by the physican

I have become very spoiled with Dr. Hsieh because now I compare all my other doctors to him and they do not measure up! I started to see him as a teenager, and still do twenty years later. I recommend him to anyone who wants to know what a doctor should be, but unfortunately (like said above) he is not accepting patients any longer. Sorry!

We love Dr. Hsieh! He takes his time with his patients...even if he his running behind...he doesn't rush you out the door.

Dr. Hsieh has my up-most respect...Very intelligent man...Not only has he taken care of me in my younger days..Now he takes care of my family now. Diagnosis is nailed everytime!! Dr. Hsieh and staff are always helpful in last minute work in appointments as needed. What a true mentor!....Dr. Hsieh TRULY goes above and beyond..A very thankful mom.....
