Dr. Mullins is really a fantastic doctor. He does not push for surgery but does recommend it when necessary. I had a large herniation at L5 - L5 which was compressing my nerve root and causing pain and numbness throughout my left leg. It was excruciating! Dr. Mullins performed a laminectomy/microdiscectomy to correct the problem. He took his time explaining the risks and benefits of the procedure and patiently answered all of my questions. The procedure went very well and I woke up with none of the pain I had been experiencing in my leg! I am now a week post op and we'll on the road to recovery. I can't say enough about how wonderful this doctor is!

DR Mullins performed a laminectomy Microdiscectomy L5-S1 on me for a massively herniated disc 5/12. He didn't waste time in accessing the issue and letting me know of my options. Surgery has been successful and I have been able to resume most if not all the activity in my life. He also didn't hesitate to tell me of my limitations after the surgery in other words the level of risk for re-injury and my options should that happen. He is knowledgeable, direct and patiently answered all the questions I had prepared (about 3 pages!) very thoroughly. His bedside manner is impeccable and he works with a great team at the Good Samaritan hospital. This like for many people,was an important milestone for me and I am lucky to have found an excellent doctor to help me through it. I cannot recommend him enough.

I went to Dr. Mullins with a spinal fracture between L5 & S1. He was extremely thorough in explain the condition, how it's treated and what to expect after surgery. He recommended surgery but did not push it. He explained alternatives as well. I've not had the surgery as yet but he inspires confidence for when I do have the procedure.

Dr. Kevin Mullins performed my spinal fusion surgery at L5-S1 and I've had amazing results so far. He has an excellent bedside manner: gentle demeanor, very patient while explaining procedures, etc., extremely professional and knowledgeable. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with him. My scar looks amazing and I am free of pain. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Mullins performed brain surgery in 07 and was very aggressive in removing my non-malignant tumor. I recovered completely without any difficulties. He is a brilliant surgeon and a very caring doctor.
