He is impossible to see on any sort of short notice. As my GP he consistently sent me to "specialists" for an ear infection, sore throat, cold or flu. In addition to it all his "quirky" sense of humor in downright rude and demeaning. I have found another doctor and will never recommend this one.

Been using Dr Kantor for 28 years, he is very knowledgeable and helpful. He listens to all your needs and concerns. He is a control type of man, which is fine ,he gets the job done correctly! Never had to wait more the 10 mins in the office. Staff is lovely.

I had an appointment with Dr. Kantor that I missed due to another doctor making my appointment and giving me the wrong information. I called to reschedule my appointment and his staff couldn't help me. Two days later I called again and after being on hold for about 15 minutes his staff informed me that he didn't want to see me due to the fact I missed my last appointment. How can a doctor turn away someone that is very ill? I will no longer be going there and I will let anyone who thinks of going there about my bad experience.

Dr. Kantor is a great physician, plain and simple. Though be prepared for his quirky sense of self and humor. Both are a force to be reckoned with. That said, he is one of the most thorough, comprehensive, amazing diagnosticians I've ever encountered because he actually listens and just says it like he sees it. Certainly no games or beating around the bush for this man. His staff has been there for years, which speaks volumes, and they are very nice when you call / see them. One caveat is getting an appointment which, at times, is difficult. Yet whenever I have had a problem he is available.

It is extremely difficult to get an appointment YET he will not fill prescriptions if its been more than 3 months since your last visit. Having a chronic condition like diabetes it is a bit ridiculous to have to be seen every 3 months. In addition his bed side manner is POOR and when you do get to see him for an appointment its short and brief. So in summary he is unpleasant to talk with but on the bright side it is a short visit. On a positive note; his nurse practitioner is lovely to work with and was the main reason I used Dr Kantor. After my recent difficulties scheduling appointments and still being DENIED prescriptions for my INSULIN and TEST STRIPS (changed insurance company and they needed new scripts to fill). Now I am without supplies and have to wait a month before the next appointment. Being a doctor; I could not imagine treating one of my clients this way. At the very least I would provide my client with a prescription until they are able to make it to the appointment.

In 1996 Dr Kantor diagnosed my diabetes. 1997 he saved my husband's life. 2010 he saved my life. I have never met a man who is so very knowledgable that he can almost fix you without seeing you. however, that will never happen. A hands on doctor that treats his paitients, not just what is wrong with them. He is a concerned man with a heart. He has a huge piece of mine. I will never got to another doctor unless Dr. Kantor sends me there & is fully aware of the treatment being given. Communication is a vital part of his practice. He is always concerned & wants to be informed of all his paitients so he can be the most effective part in their healthcare. I highly reccomend this doctor but don't want him to get overbooked that it will keep me from him LOL great man from the inside out!

This Dr. is one of most patient - kind - intelligent doctors I've ever been to. He actually listens and isn't fearful of telling the real score; which is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this man, as did my GP, my OB/GYN, and a radiologist. He's a doctors doctor!
