I set up an appointment with Dr Barker a month before because she was not available for that long. I was a few minutes late because it was my first time to see her and I had trouble finding the facility. The signage at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Facility did not show which of the 2 sign in areas (wings) was for her. I waited at the wrong wing for other patients to sign in. When it was my turn they told me I had to sign in at the other wing. i waited at the other wing and when I got up to the desk they told me I was too late for the appointment and that Dr Barker was a stickler for promptness so I could not have her as my doctor because that was her rule. She is clearly an a... retentive. A doctor that has no compassion and doesn't care about her patients or those who would become her patients is not one I would recommend.

Dr. Barker is an excellent physican. She fully informs herself about your condition, welcomes questions and asks questions, and gives you the treatment or referrals that will solve your medical problems. She is the best.
