This brilliant yet compassionate healer is the best doctor I’ve had in my entire life. If only I didn’t move to the West Coast…

Absolutely best dr ever. Unbelievably smart He has saved my life many times over the past 20 years. He had also got me out of terrible states I was in. He always calls you back the same day. He runs late but is worth the wait. He gives you his full attention and acts like no one else is waiting. He does not rush you. You can call ahead and ask what time you should be there. He’s so knowledgeable about medicine it’s unbelievable. I’ve gone to him for 20 years. I can’t say enough good things about him!!!

Dr. Paul M. Spector is an outstanding physician, psychiatrist, and parapsychologist. He is broadly knowledgeable, kind, and effective. The wait worth the effort. One must be patient, but if so the patient gets A plus treatment

Dr. Spector is always about 3 hours late every day. That is absolutely ridiculous for any doctor.

Dear Dr. Paul,

Im applauded again, by your rude staff, My first visit didnt go right becasus no one told me I'll have a 4 hour wait and they rescheduled my appointment until I got there; they stated they called my mother and so how she gave the wrong information. I called my mom and she was confused; befoe I left your office after filling out my paper work, I advised your staff to contact me and not my mother. I got pass that, but enjoy my visiit with you. On the 16th 17th and 18th I was in mandatory OT; I waited for your office call to confirmed because they stated they call to confirm; that didn't happy again they called my mother. I got a bill in the mail yesterday regarding missed appt; WOW; I just spoken to your staff to resch'd my appt; not know nor again did they advised me of these action because when I called I figure your office cancel appt do to the snow storm; neither her or their; I've been in the care or Workers Comp for 4 yrs and they will tell you; i've never missed an appointment without a call or to resch'd an appt-that not the kicker what the kicker is your staff SANDY threaten me with my workers comp; stating I will have to pay or I wont get workers comp BOY what kind of staff threaten someone with their medical treatment your staff; Im not on worker comp they are responsible for my doctor's care and medication and you just lost client over their lack of learning how to deal with sick patients like myself; Im low tolerance for people trying to use and abuse me and treat me anyway and your staff did just that

Doctor Spector is late (you can call ahead and his office will let you know how late you should be to match him...get's kind of funny but routine after a while.) He is VERY patient, VERY knowledgeable and no, he is not arrogant. If you're intimidated by his intelligence, get over it. He's gifted. He has literally saved my brother's and my life through careful diagnosis and management of medications that no other doctor has been able to manage. He doesn't have to take insurance because he is THAT GOOD. I have spent much more for years prior to seeing Dr. Spector and had improper diagnosis and no relief from symptoms. I highly recommend him.

Yes, it's true that as one of his patients you'll likely find yourself waiting a few hours, however, as a relatively new patient, I've noticed that the reason for this is because he takes his time with you when it's your turn to be seen. He's very thorough and wants to make sure that there's clear communication between himself and you & your spouse. He's doesn't just talk AT you like most physicians I've experienced. So, it's kind of a "catch 22" situation. Having switched from a doctor I'd spent over 10years with treating various injuries, Dr. Spector took some getting used to, but he has a great sense of humor and one of our off-topic conversations actually led to a "breakthrough" in my treatment. Seemed like it was minutia at the time, but it wasn't! I'm grateful that he listened and didn't just go by what was only in my medical records. People are more than just words on paper & he constantly shows me that he knows this and it matters to him.

Office staff is extremely rude; Dr. Spector has such an inflated ego that he routinely has patients wait FOR HOURS before being seen. Poor bedside manner; gets off on topics that have nothing to do with your visit; refers people to his wife, who is equally worthless. If you have all day to wait, by all means, he's your guy.

Dr. Spector is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He problem solved with medications until he found the right combination. He figured out medication issues that other doctors gave up on. He is an outstanding doctor who saved my life. He sincerely cares about his patients and wants the best for them.
