Dont use this man especially if you are a veteran. He doesn't listen. I was supposed to have a vbac2c and berated me in front of my family about my choice as a patient of another obgyn. Then my fuel bumps from military service were because I was supposedly on drug or my house was dirty. Ladies please find someone better.

He performed my hysterectomy and I thought he did a great job.
After the surgery he went and talked to my son and reassured him that I was okay.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cardenas for over 18 years. He has helped me deliver two high risk pregnancies, after three painful miscarriages with two previous OBGYN's. I have had many positive experiences with him and his caring staff over the years. He is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor. I would and have recommended Dr. Cardenas to numerous women over the years.

I had a horrible experience. This man basically told me after my surgery. (Ectopic pregnancy). I could go mow a lawn. I just need to believe in god. Even though I continued to tell him. I was in horrible pain after he did the surgery. It took a year before I finally find out he messed my surgery up and my uterus had shifted out of place. So he went in and fixed. This horrible man was gone before I woke up. I guess he couldn't look me in the eyes and say I'm sorry I messed up during the first surgery. It took me going to another doctor after the 2nd surgery Dr.Cardenas performed. To find out exactly what was wrong and why he left without acknowledging his mistake. DON'T DO IT. Find a doctor who really cares and don't just want to push you off.

He is a nice man, but forced his religious beliefs on you. After explaining to him I had been very weak, and stomach pains after every meal he went onto prescribe a thyroid medication. I continued to get worse. I went on to see another physician that discovered I had a serious bacterial infection in my stomach. I felt Dr. Cardenas did not take my symptoms seriously make or make any attempt to get to the root of the issue before prescribing medication.

dr cardenas is a wonderful dr if it wasnt for him i would of died he is so sweet and compassionate and has always been there to answer any questions i wouldnt go to any other dr

Sometimes...medicine only makes things worse. Never had a doctor that has taught me to change my way of thinking. Dr. Cardenas is the best doctor ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you for understanding that Jesus is the Great Physician and that you are His servant. I came away with hope and peace.

DO NOT GO TO JORGE CARDENAS!! i just lost a baby in the most horrible way w/ a 8cm fibroid causing me nonstop pain & bleeding, was told nothing could be done, was given pills that i was told were hurting the baby was made to feel i had no choice but to abort. then i go to Jorge Cardenas & he tells me he is going to do nothing about my fibroid, preaches to me about god like i just went & had an abortion for the heck of it. touches my stomach and says he assumes i had an infection without really checking & prescribes a medicine. then tells me not to come in to get checked just to call. makes me feel like i had an abortion for nothing, im crying about the loss of my baby and tells me he doesnt have all day, told me if i would have took 4 pills a day of pain medicine my entire pregnancy it would have no effect on the baby. he didnt do his job at all and dint care, was very rude to be & insensitive to me. Please be warned & find a doctor who actually does work, cares & wont be rude to you!

He told me asthma didnt exist and took me off of my medicine. I had an asthma attack at 7 weeks and lost my child at 8 weeks and 2 days due to untreated asthma and my o2 droping. He found out I had went to the ER to be treated and threw an absolute fit. Our baby was a big suprise and now our little blessing is gone due to a small inhailor that could have saved its life. If you have a medical condition, go to someone else!

Dr. Cardenas is by far the best OB/GYN I have ever been too. He took his time explaining things to me and made sure that I understood. He is very kind and patient. I would HIGHLY recommend his office!!
