I have seen Dr. Thotakura for several years and I'm very happy with his care. He is patient oriented and very skilled at medication management. I find him to be largely on time. I use to be (emphasis use to be) a patient at a major medical center and their solution was to pile on medication after medication. Dr. T reduced the medication in half, selected combinations that worked well together, and stabilized the illness. Regardless of who has been in there, I have always found his staff to be very caring. I definitely recommend him as a Psychiatrist.

The doctor took me off of ativan that I had been on for ten years 4 a day cold turkey. I was going through withdrawal and he didn't respond to my phone calls. To me this is incompetence.

Both of the Dr Thotakura's I have seen. I feel like they have both saves my life. I was going to Triumph and there my medicines were constantly changed so I never could get stable. Now that I have seen this doctor for almost a year I have gotten off a certain medication that I never thought I could do. This doctor kept me on the medicines that worked and didn't change anything and because of that I got stable enough I felt like I could finally get off that one medicine that I wanted to for years. This man saved my life. I wish he knew that. My past wasn't great but this doctor helped me and didn't make me feel judged. I'm happy to say that I have been off that one medication I struggled with for so many years for 2 and a half weeks almost. I got the confidence to do this and I am now a happier person then ever. Thank u doctor u saved my life. I would highly recommend him.

Office is dirty and staff unprofessional. Dr. only cares about patients that bring him the most money. Restrooms are nasty and dirty...always running out of toilet paper and was given Kleenex to use . I will no longer be a patient at this office and would highly recommend that you seek another more professional practice and Dr.

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! His staff is incredibly unprofessional, rude. He was always running late, but but billed me for a no-show when I ran late. In addition, he kept trying to give me an SSRI med when I repeatedly told him I didn't respond to these meds. Furthermore, he seems clueless in treating ADHD and OCD. Office is dirty, restrooms were often disgusting before the remodeling. Go elsewhere!!!

Extremely caring and patient. Willing to adjust medication proactively to improve my condition. There was a small $ discrepancy between "Specialist" fee as listed on insurance card and what they charged me. I was told that this difference was allowed and I could confirm it with the insurance company. I will do this shortly but I will continue to see this very good doctor despite the small additional fee.
