I imagine because this was a Workmans Comp case he was less congenial than he would be with a regular patient t but I found him to be cold and shockingly insulting. The actual arthroscopy he did was fine other than the persistent pain afterwards if I tried to kneel, a position that my job as a Firefighter would require. He called me a “malingerer” and insisted I was exaggerating. Consult and films with second doctor revealed a torn meniscus that was missed entirely.
Besides the marginal care it was his condescension that galled me.

Dr. Test has been my orthopaedist of choice for 12 years. He is knowledgeable and attentive. His knowledge is matched by his technical skills in surgery. I have seen him for knee issues (including surgery) and hip issues (no surgery required). He is attentive with a wonderful bedside manner.

Spends enough time with patient on initial interview to answer all questions patient may have. Good information on Knee and Hip replacement
