We have been with Dr. Takanti for one year now. We are so glad we found her practice to take care of our baby daughter. She has always been very kind and attentive. She has called us back quickly when we had questions about sickness and gets us in for an appt right away. We never have to wait to see her and we love the simplicity of her practice. We don't have to wait for an office staff member to call us back or wonder who will see our daughter at her appt. We hope Dr. Takanti will be practicing for many more years.

She is the best. I have taken my three daughters to her for years. She is kind and brilliant. Her lack of office staff is unusual but greatly benefits the patients. It has been my observation that her motives for practicing medicine are soley in her commitment to her patients and her love of children.

After multiple problems with a multi-physician pediatrics practice, I started taking my 2 children to Dr. Takanti. I am so happy that I made this change! Dr. Takanti is gentle and patient with my children. I have NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room because she dosen't overbook her schedule. Our appointments, whether for well-checks or sick visits have never felt rushed. Dr. Takanti takes the time to address any concerns that I might have. On one occasion, my daughter became ill on a Friday afternoon. On the way to our 4:00 appointment, we got stuck in traffic. Dr. Takanti assured me that she would wait until we arrived. She stayed until we arrived at 4:45. I was so thankful that our doctor would go above and beyond for us! I would recommend Dr. Takanti without reservation.

When my family and I moved to the Gainesville area I researched and interviewed many pediatricians. I found that Dr. Takanti was by far the best fit for my family. Because she is the only doctor and because she doesn't have office staff or nurses we receive extremely personal and tailored care. My children are comforted by the fact that they know who is going to greet them, weigh them, take their temperature, examine them, give them their immunizations, etc. They know that it will always be Dr. Takanti and not a doctor or nurse who they are unfamiliar with. Also - Dr. Takanti has been very patient with my many questions, requests and my stubborn insurance company. If we call after hours, we know that Dr. Takanti will be quick to repond. Dr. Takanti runs a very efficient, highly personalized and caring, family friendly practice. I highly recommend her!

I first started going to Dr. Takanti after getting tired of going to the multi-doctor pediatricians that were too concerned with how much money they could make rather than patient care. Dr. Takanti has always been there for any need I've had, whether it was a call nearing midnight to check to see if my daughter's fever had finally gone down or to be able to sqeeze me in quickly to get a forgotten shot for school. She is kind, knowledgeable and actually cares about the patient enough to know their names without glancing at her chart first. I have recommended her to all my friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. One of the best pediatricians in the Gainesville/No. Virginia area.

My children have been going to Dr. Takanti for years. She is by far the most attentive and caring pediatrician we have ever dealt with. She often calls to check on my children after we've been in for a sick visit. I schedule our well child exams with her every year and I know what to expect -- she's consistent and thorough. Don't let the fact that she runs her own office fool you. She's organized and very capable of handling the both her patients and her office. In summary, Dr. Takanti is a vaulable asset to those in the Gainesville/ Northern Virginia area. If you are looking for a caring, attentive pediatrician, look no further.

We love going to Dr Takanti's office in Gainesville, VA. She has been the best possible paedtrician to all 3 of our kids. From the moment their born to each and every wellness check up she has always given us her utmost care and warmth.

She doesn't have a staff - no nurse, no receptionist, no billing, etc.. --she does everything herself, which really dilutes the medical care. Very distant and disconnected. Gets annoyed if you call after hours. Resistend our request for preservative free flu vaccine claiming her practice was too small to purchase it. Worst pediatrician we ever experienced.

Dr Takanti is an excellent pediatrician. We had our first son recently and wanted to find a doctor that was caring and compassionate to help us make the best decision for our child; Dr Takanti is that doctor. She is very caring, always available when you have questions or concerns and fits us in at a moments notice when we need to be seen. We called her on a Saturday night at 9:30 and she called us back within 10 minutes, you can't get better service then that. Her practice is small but you get very personal service and we never feel rushed when we have lots of questions...I highly recommend Dr Takanti's practice

Dr. Takanti is kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to discuss any concerns I have had. She is wonderful with my daughter and her office environment is very calm and comfortable. Whenever I had a question or concern, Dr. Takanti always made herself available. She is an excellent pediatrician and I trust her with my daughter's care. I give her the highest recommendations possible.
