I found Dr.Ragukonis to be very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnosis the cause of my pain on the first visit and explained my options. I followed his suggestion and am now pain free. I am so fortunate to have found such a bright, competent doc. Forever grateful!!!

I agree with everyone saying he's arrogant and he def drives nice cars there. Which is fine, however it's also true that he snaps I've seen him do it to the nurse in the room and it made me uncomfortable because she told him that I was going to a different p.t. Which made him snap at her. I have two herniations both have had 3 epidurals from him one herniation is better the other one has gotten worse. After two years of seeing him he told me to deal with the pain and stopped prescribing me my muscle relaxers, Motrin, and pain meds. Now I have one herniation and a bulging disc and he said he cannot help me anymore and dropped me. I'm right back where I started cause this one pain I have is worse than the two put together. The office told me everything was covered by my insurance now I'm receiving bills from labs that were supposed to be covered by the insurance but weren't. Apparently, I signed a waiver that had a full page of text in a size 3 font saying that the lab work was being sent out and I would be responsible it. My advise is go elsewhere cause this guy doesn't want to hear what you have to say ever! And he already has an epidural for you waiting. Lastly, if you sign something there cause you decided to go make sure you read the entire document.

Dr. Ragukonis is my dream come true. I saw several physicians who could never help me and then I found my life again after seeing Dr. R. He is compassionate, caring, and brilliant. I suffered with tremendous back pain for years; I saw too too many docs who did nothing for me. I suggest we make Dr. R the Surgeon General of the US; that's how wonderful he has been to me. His staff was quite efficient and demonstrated the same behavior that I experienced in Dr. Ragukonis; they were pleasant and professional and helped make me feel important. I have been to many doctors for various reasons, too often I felt like I was a "pain" to them, this was not the case here. I felt like I was the only patient receiving such wonderful treatment until I mentioned it to others in the waiting room and they said the same thing. Hip, hip, hurrah for Dr. R!!!

If you care about your health and resolving your pain, ***DO NOT*** see doctor Ragukonis (Bergen Pain Management/Paramus Surgical Center in Paramus NJ)! My husband has been seeing him for almost 20 years, and has had TONS of surgeries on his back to no avail... He is in even WORSE shape now than when he first walked into his office! He was on a pain regimen that Ragukonis prescribed to him, for about ten years, and he almost DIED because of all the medication (he was literally on his death bed with his liver failing-- they read him his last rights). Dr. Ragukonis is the most rude doctor I have ever met. He does not allow you to talk or get any word in... He just wants you to do what HE wants, and that's it.. If you disagree or suggest an alternative he gets offended and snaps! He actually screamed at me and kicked us out of his office, discontinuing the medicaiton my husband was on, just because I asked him a question! It's incredible! A patient of almost 20 years and that's how he treats my husband?! He is so arrogant, and only cares about making money. It's a total scandal. He tries to act like he cares and is compassionate, but just wants you to take the route where he ends up with more cash in his pocket. If it weren't for people like my husband, this doctor wouldn't be where he is today..Absolutely no respect... Oh, and to make it worse, the staff is incredibly rude as well. They are awful at simple things such as scheduling. I made an appointment with them once and wrote down the date/time in my calendar book, just to be told a month later that I had no appointment...!! I couldn't believe it. Worse place ever. Don't waste your time or money seeing Dr. Ragukonis.

I've been seeing dr r for three years for chronic pain. At first my pain was so bad I couldn't sleep or lay down. After a few injections i feel 95% better I still suffer from neck pain which has gotten better but not cured. The staff is hit or miss there's some really nice people and others are pretty cranky. I think it's cause dr r isn't very nice to them if they make a mistake so everyone seems to be on edge there. Now as far as punctuality in not sure why people put more than one star. I've never waited less than 20 min to see the dr sometimes up to an hour. Because he's one of those Drs that see about out 80 patients a day. And schedules them at three times. So I'll get there and ten other people in the waiting room have a 430 appt. He is somewhat helpful and knows his stuff but I do feel like he's chugging along when I'm visiting.

Dr Ragukonis is the best ever!!! I lived with pain for a long, long time. I thought that I would never find a doctor to help me so I looked for Top Doctors in New Jersey Monthly magazine and went to see Dr. Ragukonis. A couple of injections later I was cured of my pain. As far as my family and I are concerned there is no better doctor in the world. If you never had bad pain you cannot appreciate what it's like to live with no pain. Thank you Dr Ragukonis for being so nice to me.

I was in bad feel until I went to dr. ragukonis. he was good and kind to me and made me much better very fast. he is a very good doctor and was very nice to me. I tell my friends to go to see him if they have pain and feel no good. dr. ragukonis will make them better.

Worst doctor i have ever seen. Definitely a money hungry man. Once he was told by the nurse that I didnt want to go through with me 2nd surgery he didn't want to see me and was literally in the room with me for half a minute. SO RUDE! I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. I am now seeing a new doctor.

I had an extremely pleasant visits to see Dr. Ragukonis. I found his staff to be professional, courteous and good listeners. A friend recommended Dr. Ragukonis after I was misdiagnosed by four doctors and continued to suffer terrible pain due to cervical fusion, shoulder pain and Fibromyalgia. He immediately sent me for an MRI of my shoulders and put together a step by step plan for my recovery. Never in my life have I seen this type of well thought out care by a physician. Dr. Ragukonis listened carefully to me and took into consideration my other medical conditions when prescribing a course of treatment. I have nothing but accolades for Dr. Ragukonis as he diagnosed my condition where several other doctors left me in pain and walked away. Dr. Ragukonis did not walk away from me. I highly recommend Dr. Ragukonis and the Bergan Pain Management Center.

Very ineffective, Smiles at you saying that he would help control the pain, then doesn't listen to a word said. Every week he drives to work in a different sports car,(Ferrari,Aston,Lambo).He put me on a med that scared the hell out of me. They screwed up every perscription. I changed a procedure date 3 days before then call me an hr after the origina procedure was to take place, asking where was I. Total money hound. Doesn't Care about the Patient. Very Unhappy with his abilities as a Dr.
